| Answer: | I wouldn't recommend burnished silver to be matched up with stainless steel appliances or brushed nickel fixtures unless you bring in a few other burnished silver fixtures to balance things out. Your other option could be to dust the fixture with a stainless steel or brushed nickel metallic spray paint after carefully taping the light sockets; I didn't like the burnished silver with my stainless steel appliances so I chose between stainless and wrought iron, since I have both in my kitchen, and painted mine to match my wrought iron and I love it.If you're as picky about things matching as I am there's enough bronze-ish coloring to the burnished silver to see the difference even when the fixture is at a distance, but with the silver/steel spray paint adjustment it'll look fine - you just have to be willing to put in a little extra effort...unless you're not as picky about things as I am. Either way, don't pass this light fixture up just because you may have to tweak it to get it to look the way you want - I've even seen this fixture painted white and other accent colors in kitchen magazines and I have to admit that it looks good, even if I'm not a fan of that much white in my kitchen. |
