Answer:	If you're trying to control a broad frequency range including lower frequencies, or trying to soundproof a space, these aren't what's you're looking for. However, if you are trying to take some high frequency out of the room, great for making a more neutral recording or getting rid of that small room/boxy sound, these work. It's a low density open cell foam of good quality. If you are trying to neutralize the reverb from a room, find your flat, hard surfaces (especially if there are parallel to another flat, hard surface like a wall) and hang a few of these. With enough coverage, the difference should be quite noticeable.

Question:	Will these help absorb the stomping vibrations from upstairs neighbors
Answer:	I looked at the 4 holes on the lock flange to see what people are talking about and from about 6" away they all looked round to me which they are on the chamfer. My first try with a 6mm Allen wrench of coarse went into one of the round holes so I thought this model didn't have provision for an Allen wrench. so, I ordered a spanner wrench from Amazon for Dewalt grinders which came in too small. Then once again I looked carefully at the holes and sure enough, 2 are for the Allen wrench. Case closed on this lock flange. Mine is still open.

Question:	I’ve now tried 5 times and want to loose my mind to attach them to a ceiling. What do you recommend
Answer:	No manufacturer will tell you to do this but you can shim the cup wheel using washers that have 5/8" holes. As the cup wheel wears down you can remove washers to keep the shroud brushes in proper contact. Can also do this with 22.23mm (7/8") arbor hole wheels (just flip the flange nut to use it to center the cup wheel). I got some handy flange nuts from King Arthur Tools that help to build up the proper height while ensuring the cup wheel stays centered on the shaft (critical or immediate regret).

How to use Donner stickers

Answer:	The panels do not have an adhesive back. Therefore, I recommend you use 3M 77 adhesive spray. Spray the back of the panel and the cleaned cement wall. Once the adhesive on the panel and wall is almost dry to the touch, simply place on wall with a gentle press.

Answer:	While these do help in soundproofing, these panels are meant to control acoustics for home and professional studios and other audio engineering needs. We wouldn’t recommend this product to help control noises from outside.

Answer:	There is no requirement but if you choose to us a grinder we would recommend a depressed diamond disc (hub wheel). The flat disc is more for shaping.

Answer:	Different size guards... the 43113 is for up to 5 inch and the 43116 is up to 6 inch.... both being tool free adjustment. So, if the same price, might as well buy the 43116 as being more versatile.

Question:	Are they good for inside a door on water closet
Answer:	Hello Patricia, Yes these acoustic foam tiles will help absorb noise from your washer and dryer in the closet. Mount the foam inside of the closet on the walls around the machines and on the inside of the doors if possible. This will not stop the noise completely but will reduce it some. Doors can be kind of tricky, especially bi-fold doors. Even the slightest crack will let the noise through. The foam will be absorbing some sound waves, but other sound will be coming through cracks. Weatherstrips work well for sealing gaps if you do have them. Duck brand makes a good weatherstripping product, and is available on Amazon. Answer:	Zheng, Thank you so much for reaching out. Acoustic foam panels are designed to absorb sound waves in the room in which they are placed. They could help reduce noise coming from a neighbor, but will not block the noise completely. If you place the foam on your side of the wall the foam will absorb some of the noise and vibrations, but not everything. It might muffle the noise a bit... Answer:	Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. These acoustic panels will not work to solve your problem. Unless you build a box around your co-worker and line the inside with acoustic foam :) ... The problem you have is that sound needs isolated in order to be blocked. The nature of cubicles allows noise to flow freely even if you did have sound absorption panels. Anywhere that air will flow through the sound will flow through as well... Answer:	No it does not come with the roller. There is a descent set on amazon for like $25 that works well and has several types of rollers in it.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. Siless Liner 157 mil is a heat insulation product. Be sure to install it from interior side only due to working temperature restrictions which are from -49 degrees to 200 degrees F with short term heating of up to 392 degrees F.

Question:	Will these help reduce washer and dryer noise in a closet off of kitchen with bi-fold doors
Answer:	Hello Patricia, Yes these acoustic foam tiles will help absorb noise from your washer and dryer in the closet. Mount the foam inside of the closet on the walls around the machines and on the inside of the doors if possible. This will not stop the noise completely but will reduce it some. Doors can be kind of tricky, especially bi-fold doors. Even the slightest crack will let the noise through. The foam will be absorbing some sound waves, but other sound will be coming through cracks. Weatherstrips work well for sealing gaps if you do have them. Duck brand makes a good weatherstripping product, and is available on Amazon. Question:	I have a loud neighbor. Can I put this mat on my wall to isolate some sound from his side? Thanks
Answer:	Zheng, Thank you so much for reaching out. Acoustic foam panels are designed to absorb sound waves in the room in which they are placed. They could help reduce noise coming from a neighbor, but will not block the noise completely. If you place the foam on your side of the wall the foam will absorb some of the noise and vibrations, but not everything. It might muffle the noise a bit... Question:	Will this foam cancel the noise of a person chewing ice in an adjacent cubicle
Answer:	Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. These acoustic panels will not work to solve your problem. Unless you build a box around your co-worker and line the inside with acoustic foam :) ... The problem you have is that sound needs isolated in order to be blocked. The nature of cubicles allows noise to flow freely even if you did have sound absorption panels. Anywhere that air will flow through the sound will flow through as well...
