Answer:	You can tilt this unit to a 45-degree angle so you can aim it at a wall and away from your eyes. The instructions that come with it are vague, so here's what I figured out on my own: Set the unit on a table and hold the base still. Then grip the globe by the clear top and press down on the front edge of the globe where the small flat edge is. It should rotate forward. You may need to use 2 hands to get it to cooperate the first few times, but it works and seems to get much easier with use. You can also hold the unit to do this - base in one hand, globe in the other - press together while rotating forward. Just remember not to accidentally pull the globe away from the base while you are rotating it forward. It moves much smoother when you press into the base while rotating it forward and back. I see a lot of people don't think it rotates, but it surely does! Enjoy!

HOW TO CONNECT

Step 1:

Search "Smart Life" in the App Store or Google Play to download App. Install it and register a new account--Login the App with your account.

Step 2:

Connect the star projector with your "Smart Life" APP.

Choose the "+" or click the Add Device>Lighting---lighting(Wi-Fi).

And Slides the star projector button repeatedly for 3 times with the following steps: OFF-Wi-Fi-OFF-Wi-Fi-OFF-Wi-Fi, keep the host switch in "Wi-Fi" till the indicator light shows white and fast-flashing and confirm it in the app.

Then choose your home WiFi (only support 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz). Finally, Pair Smart Device-- Input Wi-Fi password--add Smart Device successfully to the Wi-Fi network.

Step 3:

How to connect the device with Alexa.

Choose "Skill" in Alexa APP, search "Smart Life", enter your account and password that you have registered at the App. After Alexa is linked to your "Smart Life" App, you can choose "Add Device" to discover the star projector and control it.
