Question:	Can you remove the chain/rod completely? what is the minimum height this can be
Answer:	Not sure of minimum height.requirements... Cord comes attached to fixture and to be woven through the chain that is a comes separate. I bought the two tier version of this. We used the chain because of very high ceiling and the fixture is pretty heavy. However it came with a 6 inch rod with hook on top that could have attached to the decorative ceiling mount provided by cutting the cord and not using the chain.

Answer:	it comes with the cord attached to fixture and the chain separate to be woven through the cord of you are going to use it. We did use the chain... but cut the cord and chain to size. Not sure but I think you could shorten yours to fit flush. Don’t know the minimum height it can be.
