Answer:	From underneath the fan, I read that it is run on 120 volts and uses 0.6 amp. By definition, max watts used at high speed is 120 X 0.6 = 72 watts.

Answer:	Per David Mendez's answer, I paid $10 more for the digital version. It arrived today, and is a manual reverse (take it out of the window and flip). I ordered model no: BWF0502E-WU. If anyone has received a triple fan model that is not manual reverse, please post the model number. Please note that the product description grid that says one of the triple fan models is automatic (as opposed to manual) clicks through to a product that says it is manual reverse. I've messaged Bionaire and will update if I get a response. The exhaust side of the model that I ordered is thicker than than the non-exhaust side. For this window, that means having to take out and replace a tricky screen to switch from using a fan to not.Update: Bionaire replied today that their only fan with electronically reversible blades is model BW2300-N. This is the larger two-fan model (which I have in a different window and am quite satisfied with). If you need electronic reverse on the three-fan form factor, Bionaire does not have an option at this time.

Answer:	Crazy this does NOT have reverse. Flipping the fan around might be ok EXCEPT the side fan window support is NOT located in the middle of fan casing. The support is on the back of center. So one way the fan sits into window slots. Reversing the fan around the slots DO NOT fit in the window groves. So there is no secure window support in the fan is faced BLOWING OUT. Not good design. I took my fan apart hoping to see if I could alter the fan motor or fan switch to make a reversing feature without needing to physically flip fan around. No good. The fan spin direction is built into the motor itself. And the motor fits into the motor slot only one way. Can not flip motor around or change how the voltage is applied. Terrible design. All they would had to do is use a reversing motor in the fan instead of a fixed spin motor. Crazy!!!!!!!!

Answer:	If you use it vertically (I.e “tall and skinny” direction, the unit including the casing is 9” wide. Which is the main reason that I purchased this rather unremarkable fan – I wanted to use it with a very narrow opening (Too narrow for a person to crawl through if they were on the other side and decided to pop the fan out of the window while I am gone). On the positive side – mine has been going for two years, probably on for average 30 hours per week 8 months per year And it hasn’t burned out yet!

Answer:	The problem is that the fan is useless unless on high, so it is always kind of loud. If you run on medium or low, it does this by only running 2 or 1 of the 3 fans respectively. When doing that, where do you think the air comes from? Right in the non-running fans! So, it does nothing. This could be the perfect fan if only all 3 ran, but at low/medium/high speeds. But as it is it is awful

Answer:	You have a choice. If you use the standard (longer) extension it is slightly more than 12" from the ceiling to the fan bottom. Mine came with a shorter extension, which I didn't use, but which would shave a few inches off that length. I can't tell you precisely how much shorter it would be, but at least a couple inches.

Answer:	To a certain extent. The face plate on mine came off fairly easily to wipe the blades. You can get most of the dust off if you're patient but, I'm not sure about pet hair.

Answer:	Hmmm, good question! I have a 16 lb kitty that likes to do the same but he's not allowed in the bedroom where we have this fan, so I did a little stability test of my own just now. Although it has a pretty large base, the base isn't weighted and the fan does wobble substantially when I pushed against it so I'm thinking if you have an overly enthusiastic kitty that likes to push up and rub against things (ours kinda rams himself against anything he rubs on more than brushing lightly against things), the weight of a 17 lb cat might would possibly knock this thing over. I'd suggest one of the Lasko Fans that has the faux wood trim - I've seen them in person at the store and they seem to be a bit more stable than this fan.

Answer:	The fan does not have a ground fault component to it. It would not automatically shutoff if it became wet or immersed and could cause electric shock. That being said, the fan is wall mounted. It could be mounted away from a water source. Then I think it could be used safely particularly if used with a ground fault outlet.

Answer:	I have my fan installed in my son's bedroom. Its pretty sturdy, so i think that a covered porch would be decent environment. It's easy to detach from the hangar it hangs on, so you could always unplug, lift and take inside if you needed to.
