Question:	Can you use the fan without the thermostat feature? I don't want it going on and off all night long
Answer:	I think the other replies were with older models? I just purchased this model and there's no issue with opting out of the thermostat feature. As noted in the instructions, to get to continous air flow, you just keep clicking the button through the modes (first you click throught the various thermostat temperatures, and then you get to "high" or "low" as options. If you click high or low either one will stay on continously. Both options are extremely quiet. It sounds like the person who had a louid nose on the low setting had a defective fan.
Question:	I want to use this in a stand-alone one room dance studio with only one window. If it's very hot outside, will this really keep it cool inside
Answer:	It’s not an AC unit so it will only be as cool (or slightly less hot) as the air from the source. That being said you could use this fan on Exhaust to suck hot air out and use a tower fan to create a breeze in the room. But to cool a room on a 90+ degree day, I’d recommend a window AC. This fan will circulate air tho, so it’s not a bad place to start.
Question:	I need the CFM and decibel (noise) ratings on this fan. These are my two most crucial criteria, but no one shows them
Answer:	This is our second window fan. I don't remember what brand/model etc our first fan was, but the CFM WAS WAY higher than this Holmes fan. My assumption is by lowering the maximum fan speed & thus drastically lower the CFM, they can advertise the fan as being quieter and using less energy. ***We have used this fan for 2 years and we DO NOT recommend it if you are looking for a high CFM (volume) fan***

Answer:	I’ve been using an older version of this fan for about 20, yup, 20 years. I use it in a garage studio. Sometimes it runs for months 24/7. It’s slowing down, tons of dirt and mysterious things on it. While it is exhaling i spray wd30 on it till it speeds up again, lol. I have absolutely punished this fan. But like I said, I run it all year, summer and winter. One side died about 4 years ago, but the other is running as we speak. The reason I saw this is because I was looking to see if they still made it. Yay they do; and it is very quiet. Next paycheck I’m getting a new one. I love the intake exhaust function,brilliant! So happy they’re still available. Can’t go wrong, and not a lot of money.

Answer:	Hello! The fan is primarily controlled by the receiver module in the fan's canopy, which works on radio waves. In order to get the fan to work with a wall switch, you would need the WCS213 Wall Control by Minka. Otherwise, a normal switch would not turn it off or on. Question:	Do you have to use with light or can it be just a fan
Answer:	Hello! Many models of fan make an initial noise with their motor for the first 24 to 48 hours as the oil inside the motor gets distributed. If it still makes a noise after that period, please definitely contact the seller you purchased it from for an exchange.

Answer:	Not easy. Some utensils can be cleaned by just wiping off with a rag. Use gloves as it is hard to get off skin. We discarded rollers and brushes.

Answer:	MDF (medium density fiberboard). They are a good thickness, though, and once installed it is difficult to tell that they are not solid wood.

Answer:	I can't answer your question. But I will say that I ordered the charred walnut colored blades and received white blades not once but twice. The label said the color I ordered, but they were white. Also the blades didn't show any sign of a wood grain look and honestly they didn't look like they would hold up very well. One last thing....it took me almost two months to get my money refunded. I had to call them and tell them where they had made an error which had delayed me receiving my refund. But I did finally get it.

Answer:	Sorry I am unable to answer your question.... I found out when I got them that the fan blade arm was MUCH too small to replace the fan blade arm that broke. I eventually wound up buying a whole new fan. The problem was when two holes were the correct distance apart, the other holes were either too close or too far.
Question:	will these work on a 48" fan
Answer:	I have the exact same measurements and they don't fit. The holes are to high up on the arm.
Question:	I need 4. 5/16" distance between holes on blade and 2. 1/16" between holes on motor mount will these fit my fan
Answer:	Standing on a step stool, using a metal tape measure, the space center to center between mounting holes that attach to the fan motor is 1 1/2" - might be 1 5/8" but really looks like 1 1/2" hope this helps.
Question:	what are the distances between holes of the arms
Answer:	The two outer holes on the fan blade side are both called A. The one in the middle is B. The two holes that attach to the fan housing are both C. A to A = 3 and 7/16. B to A = 2 and 9/16. C to C = 1.5 inch and the length is about 5 and 1/8 inches overall. Hope this helps

Question:	How can I order with a 7 to 8 ft drop rod to match the fan
Answer:	I would say the finish is downright shiny. Definitely satin nickel over brushed, and honestly, maybe even toward the realm of polished. It's not a mirror/chrome-type finish, but more much more shiny than brushed.
Question:	Can it be flush mounted
Answer:	You CAN hook this fan to the wall switches... I find it frustrating to see people say no and giving misinformation. The fan comes with a receiver and remote, all you have to do is bypass the receiver to get it to work on a light switch, i.e. connect your red wire from the ceiling (which is your live light wire) to the blue wire coming from the motor of the fan. As long as the fan exposes the blue (live light) wire this technique will work on most fans with remotes (I have done it 3 times now on different brands/models - the only time it hasn't worked is on a fan that hid the blue wire inside the motor). This fan exposes black/white/blue from the motor so this bypass will work. Just make sure to cap off the blue wire coming off the receiver, and your good to go.
Question:	The description says the metal is brushed nickel but it looks polished/shiny. Any insight on what it actually is
Answer:	Make sure the blades are installed correctly. If they are then the fan was not made properly and you need to send it back for replacement or refund.
