Question:	Will a 24 inch downrod work
Answer:	Hello! The fan is primarily controlled by the receiver module in the fan's canopy, which works on radio waves. In order to get the fan to work with a wall switch, you would need the WCS213 Wall Control by Minka. Otherwise, a normal switch would not turn it off or on. Question:	Do you have to use with light or can it be just a fan
Answer:	Hello! Many models of fan make an initial noise with their motor for the first 24 to 48 hours as the oil inside the motor gets distributed. If it still makes a noise after that period, please definitely contact the seller you purchased it from for an exchange.

Question:	Does this item have a remote control included
Answer:	Hello! The fan comes with all you need to mount it to the ceiling- the brackets, canopy, and down rod.
