Answer:	Not sure what the piece is called, but it's small metal link where the ball on end of the chain snaps in place. I attached mine to a ball link chain coming out of the ceiling fan mechanism. See a dog tag picture for reference. It was an easy installation.

Answer:	You should check your local building codes. Generally it is not permissible to vent a bathroom exhaust fan into another interior space, even a void space (like an attic, or between the walls.) This is especially true if you have a tub or shower in the bathroom.
Question:	My wall is 11.5 thick. Can i install it
Answer:	On high it's not real quiet but if it's the only thing on in the room you can hear it. If you turn it down it makes almost no noise but it won't push much air at that level. I wouldn't buy this product again for what I was trying to do. I was trying to heat/cool and adjacent 12 x 12 room and there just isn't enough volume to be that effective. Noise wise its like a small bathroom fan I suppose.

Answer:	The design is for a single circuit. that said the fan and the light function independently via wireless operation. The wireless can be programmed so multiple fixture can be controlled independently.
