Answer:	All of the answers that suggest being on "A and B 120 volt sections" are wrong. This device works over WiFi. That old "A and B" advice is for obsolete powerline systems like X-10. Any problems are due to WiFi signal quality. The Smart Plug and Echo do NOT need to be on the same "120 volt section."
Question:	Do I need an Alexa device in the home to control the outlet while we're away
Answer:	As long as you have the app and the outlet is paired with your Alexa app, you can control it through the app (no echo device needed).
Question:	Does it work with a 5g wi-fi or is like the other one you sell that only work with a 2g wi-fi
Answer:	You probably don't want this device to use 5 ghz wi-fi, which has a limited amount of signal channels. 2 ghz wi-fi has fewer channels, running at lower speeds, and is generally conjested with traffic from your neighbor's wifi. You won't, however, notice a difference in lag for a smart plug due it is only using about 1 kilobit per second over a connectionless protocol to activate or deactivate the plug. This plug, running on the 2 ghz wi-fi, means that there is one more channel available on the 5 ghz wi-fi for a device that really needs it, like a TV or a gaming console, which tend to transmit at around 25,000 kilobits per second each.

Answer:	I haven't even installed my smart plug yet and I can already answer this. The plug will turn it on but how would it press the button to brew? Again, I can already say it won't do that. Another answer mentioned using a switch bot. Okay. So smart plug $10-$15 plus switch bot $20 ... Dude, just go buy a coffeemaker with a clock/timer. They've been around FOREVER and will both turn themselves on and brew your coffee for you and you don't even have to make a whole pot. You can get an entire coffee maker for like $25 then use your smart plugs for something else/something that doesn't already have the ability to turn itself on/ect. :)

Question:	Will this integrate with a Samsung Smart Things hub
Answer:	It is really shame that Chamberlain myQ decided to NOT support SmartThings. After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.
Question:	Why does chamberlain charge a fee when the other devices are free
Answer:	This is a shame and Chamberlain should be embarrassed. It's pathetic. I would rather pay $10-20 more to never pay a subscription fee as long as I own the device. Aonthly or annual fee is just sickening and it's the singular reason why I have not purchased this product. Everything I own is Chamberlain. By including a fee, they have completely ALIENATED A LOYAL CUSTOMER. Am I also understanding this correctly that Alexa does not have a subscription fee for integration?

Answer:	This a general photography issue - taking flash (or otherwise illuminated) pictures thru glass will capture the reflection of your illumination, washing out the subject you are trying to capture on the other side of the glass. If you can't mount the camera outside, try blocking the IR illuminators with electrical tape. The camera will still go into nighttime IR mode, picking up IR light, but you won't get the reflections of the illuminators. You also won't be illuminating your subject, so you will need some kind of light source outside. In my case, a porch light works great. You can also purchase external stand-alone IR illuminators, which you would place outside, if you want your subject to remain "dark" to the naked eye.

Answer:	The idea of "wired" to a router is not the issue. It requires access to an ip address. It can do that through a physical connection or through a wifi connection. It only requires a hard line at the time of set up, after that it acts as its own video server in either a wired or wireless environment assuming you have a wireless router in your network.

Answer:	Yes, but it must be configured to do so. If you see only "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, then press "fan" and "up" simultaneously. When the screen changes, press "next" until you reach option 12. Setting "0" enables "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, while setting"1" enables "heat/cool/auto/off." Setting "3" is "auto/off" only. When you press "done," your mode screen will show the option you selected. FYI: In "auto" mode, the "heat" temperature at any time must always be at least 3 degrees less than the "cool" temperature.
