Question:	Can this alarm be installed on sliding doors
Answer:	Since sliding doors design vary based upon manufacturer it's hard to accurately answer this request. However, if you can adhere both items of this product side by side - one being stationary, the other being the movable piece, then it will work just fine. In other words, when the sliding door is in the closed position, you must be able to install this product in such a way that when the door is opened, the two pieces "break contact" with one another thereby sounding the very loud and high-pitched alarm. Answer:	There is just a switch. The item that looks like a big button on the front is not a button. I believe it is just the speaker. The switch is a standard sliding switch. If children could reach it, they could turn it off, depending on their age and the location of the alarm. On doors, these are usually mounted at the top of the door, well out of reach of children in normal circumstances. The alarms are also pretty small (about 2.5 inches long), so they don't attract much attention.

Answer:	Make sure it lays flat, or has room to lay flat. My windows have a bump so I cant even use mine. The chime is loud enough for an apt or small house, esp if you're a deep sleeper. If you have a house I would recommend either mult of these units or a different system all together.

If your receiver has a place for another accessory on the back with two phono plug inputs, such as for a turntable or it might just say input, then you can plug this changer into those and then there should be a corresponding setting on the front buttons that will switch the input to where you plugged it in on the back of the receiver unit. In this case, the output to the speakers will still be limited to the amplification of your receiver, so it won't affect the speakers.

Answer:	Beleive they have door which opens to the outside. Florida homes have these for hurricanes. Hinge is inside but door swings out yet hinge pin is inside.
Question:	Does this act as zwave extender
Answer:	Only "Lines Powered" devices (plugged in or installed permanently to your homes electricity) will work as Z-Wave Repeaters or extenders. It is a Z-Wave requirement that all "Lines Powered" devices must repeat the Z-Wave network. Battery operated devices like this GE 32563 cannot repeat the network because their battery life would be used up in a matter of hours constantly listening for Z-Wave traffic to relay.
Question:	Does this require the door to be completely closed to register as closed
Answer:	Not really. The long arm you see in the pic rests against the door and is "calibrated" by pulling it off and putting it back down in a different position. There's a set of splines which give probably about a 10 degree precision. On our door the splines don't allow for it to be that accurate and the door can be unlatched and still register as closed. I imagine you could shim up the end of the arm to get it as precise as you wanted, but I'm not sure about the tolerances of the internal switch mechanism (i.e. if you got it so it was very precise when it was closed, would it then go back to closed once opened, or would it have to go past the previous position to trigger the switch).

Answer:	No, this is a sensor to let you know when your door has been opened. It's for monitoring in case of a break-in while you are away. It sends you a text saying your door has been opened.

Answer:	The door alarm key pad in a unit all to itself. The key pad only operates the door alarm. The window alarms are themselves separate units. Each window alarm has "Off-Chime-Alarm" settings. The unit does not operate in the Off position. In the Chime position when the two pieces of the unit are separated by more than an 1/2 inch the Chime will sound. In the Alarm position the unit will sound its alarm when the two pieces of the unit are separated by more than an 1/2 inch. The Alarm will STOP when window is closed or the two pieces of the unit are within an 1/2 inch of each other or switch is put in the OFF position.

Answer:	No. Each unit is a seperate alarm. the large unit is not a "base" unit. It is a unit of it's own primarly for doors. It has a programmable code and a "chime" feature as well. It is VERY, VERY loud. The smaller units are not connect to the large one, nor or they connected to each other. They are loud, but not as loud as the large unit. They only have an "On/Off" switch, no code or "chime" setting. I bought some of the larger units seperately for my daughters to have on their aparment doors.

Answer:	I use this as an under the counter light and it’s very bright, but as it is closer than what you might normally have over your stove, you might want two or something brighter. It’s sort of subjective to where you are using it, but it’s a great value for the price.

Answer:	Cold, more than one light will give the daylight color.

Answer:	This doorbell does NOT use cr2 batteries. This pissed me off. The description clearly states you need 5 cr2 batteries, so I bought a pack of 10, only to find when my doorbell arrived, that this unit takes 3 C batteries! So, I wasted more money on batteries that I'll NEVER use than on this unit that I was going to use them in. SELLER, CHANGE YOUR DESCRIPTION!!!

Question:	Will it work in a metal frame and door
Answer:	Each time you press the volume button , it raises the sound..and then it will loop back to low..after reaching the high again..so you have to figure out which is the highest sound.
