Question:	Do you have to sit in front of it with it shining into your face
Answer:	The light needs to enter your eyes. Generally, a good position is on a desk or table at 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock. You can even position slightly higher than your eyes to mimic the angle of sunlight. Just like the sun, you don't want to stare directly at your happy light, but you do need to be able to see it.
Question:	lux at what distance
Answer:	Intensity falls by the square or radius 20 inches is 4 times the distance of 5 making it 0ne sixteenth weaker Are we to believe this delivers 16000 Lux at 5 inches?? I don’t think so

Answer:	It depends on what your lamp is rated for. You want to make sure that you use a bulb with the same ratting as your lamp. If not, it could get too hot, not shine properly or even wear prematurely.

Answer:	Fluorescent in general isn't good for photography, because they work in a series of flashes and each flash will have a different tone to it, so each of your photos will have a different tone, none of which will match your perception which is continuous rather than the split second your lense captures.

Answer:	The light that these bulbs produce is the closest spectrum to natural sunlight. I purchased several of these for my mom and my girlfriend and they love them. Answer:	seems same as others, a little warm for a compact florescent, but birds might like the heat, not burning hot like a incandescent, but seems more than other CF bulbs.
Question:	Would these bulbs work well for bird cages to simulate sunlight
Answer:	Yes, the CRI for these bulbs (91) is within the range (91-100) recommended for bird lighting. With that said, though, placement of the lights makes all the difference. If the bulbs are too far away from the bird(s), they won't make much of a difference on the bird's health.
