Answer:	You MUST use a bulb with a lot of red in it. If you use cfl's, stick with warm white (sometimes called soft white). The important thing to look at is the color temperature. For flowering you want a 2700K bulb. No higher than 3000K. Avoid middle of the road spectrums altogether. Anything with "daylight" on it probably won't work for flowering OR vegging. Just remember that vegging is blue (5500K or higher) and flowering is red (3000K or lower).
Question:	Does it take Metal Halide bulbs
Answer:	you need a ballast so absolutely not a metal halide bulb has the same mogul bas as the fluorescent so it would fit in this fixture but do not do it, it will not work once again metal halides and sodiums need a ballast and this does not have one

Answer:	Twelve continuous hours of dark in every 24 hour cycle is what will make your plants bud. They will flower under this bulb, but it's more geared towards vegging. You want to use the FLD125 2700K for flowering. I couldn't find the wing with a 2700K bulb, or even the wing alone, so I just took the 6500K bulb out for use in my vegging section (without a wing) and put in a 2700K bulb in my flowering section. I have some seriously happy girls. The wing is well-made and worth every penny. (especially if you're graduating from aluminum foil)Happy growing! Dan

Answer:	The package does not give a CRI. It claims to be "daylight deluxe" with a brightness of 1600 lumens at 6500K. For more information, you might ask at Philips web site.

Answer:	they are not, however they do illuminate quickly and the initial brightness is well over 50%.

Answer:	If you had to choose between these and LED's in your ceiling fan, I would highly recommend these over LED any day. Reason: my sweetheart and I were recently out shopping for bulbs (ironically for the ceiling fan) and saw this "great" deal on LED's. "Oh yes, the wattage is low and they're such a bright light. We can save on electricity AND have a good light".... or so we thought. The first part is true, but as far as a "bright light", nothing could be further from the truth! The bulb itself was extremely bright and "white", but the light it emitted was a weird "dull". Every time I went in the upstairs hallway (which is another place we put them) I felt like I was entering some space ship, or operating room. The fluorescent lights are different. They are bright and "white" and the light it emits is also BRIGHT. They actually look as though you have a huge window lighting up the entire room. There is ONE downfall to this though. The bulbs are not exactly the prettiest. They do look very odd in open light fixtures; without a globe or some other sort of covering. I don't know if ALL LED bulbs do this, but I do know the ones we used DID and that was enough to deter me away from LED's.

Answer:	These bulbs are very bright white-almost blue. I personally hate them, they aren't very nice to look at and I would never put them inside my home. They are currently in my garage, and I don't even like that type of light in there. Too commercial/industrial. Also, they take some time to warm up to full brightness. Not exactly the best for my Central New York climate.

Answer:	You'll need the power supply. They don't come with one

Answer:	You will want a dimmer designed for LED use and for a 12-24 volt vehicle power. Search on LED dimmer 12v and there are a number of options in Amazon that may work. Can't really recommend one over another as your installation will drive the best solution. There is an in-line version, a panel mount version or a button mount version that could be a good fit for your van. The LED lights when dimmed will tend to flicker on you as the lower voltage being supplied will affect the LED illumination. I've found I can go to around 1/2 power and get good functioning on mine. After that I start to get too much flickering. It becomes a matter of personal preference.
Question:	Will smart bulbs work in these adapters
Answer:	There are cut marks on the strip, cut there and you’ll be okay. If you’re just wanting to remove the factory installed lead/adapter you will need to unsolder it or move down to the first cut mark and cut it off there.

Question:	Product details says lamps are dimmable yet box says non-dimmable. Are these dimmable led lamps
Answer:	My experience with trying to dim LED lights is that the technology for the dimmers isn't good enough to work properly. My dimmer switch for a bedroom lamp burned out from trying this. Best to use LEDs only for non-dimming purposes, stick with incandescent for dimming. Hopefully this will be changing.
Question:	Why can only 2 and 4 packs be shipped to California but not 12 and
Answer:	It’s because of proposition 65. The larger packs do not have the cancer warning on them. It’s the same reason why many products don’t ship to California on Amazon.
Question:	Features section says dimmable, but reviews say non dimmable, which one is correct
Answer:	the description says Non-Dimmable, Instant On, Shatter resistant, Shock and vibration resistant but some reviewers say they are not Sylvania, will find out in a few days

Answer:	Contrary to most opinions here, it has nothing to do with Title 20 - the specs for these bulbs are way above Title 20 requirements. The reason this doesn't ship to CA (while smaller packs of the exact same light bulb do) is because of Proposition 65, related to the cancer warning on the packaging. This SKU doesn't have the warning on the package, while the smaller boxes do. The "lots of dim bulbs in CA" comment was really funny BTW. Maybe they should pass a proposition about that.

It does not come with any "corner connectors" at all if that is what you mean. It can be broken and wire soldered, but has no connectors that come with it. I do not know if they make any.However, My tape is in an old upright computer case cabinet converted into a display case to show off the old computer parts and components, and the one unbroken piece of tape twisted all the necessary corners quite well and works just fine after several months of heavy use - 18 hours a day to light up all of the components extremely well.It can make some pretty serious bends without having to be broken and re-joined, 120 degrees if you don't manhandle it when you install it.

Answer:	I never ordered power supplies with my rolls of LEDs, so, can't help there. But if the supplier were supposed to be 1 for each unit, then you should have got 4 power supplies

Answer:	I do have these lights these lights installed inside and can't answer for certain. But, it does appear that the LED's could withstand being wet however, the bare connecter terminal wire ends would need to be some how modified for that type of application. Note: The end wires are not very long. Also, if you really need to use a waterproof LED light strip you should be sure they are marked and made for that specific application. I would recommend LED rope lights instead of these. Good Luck!
