Answer:	They are hardened steel. I've used mine on some screws with stripped heads (which would have chewed up the bit if it hadn't been hardened steel). They are hardened and they don't get chewed up. I've had no issues with mine.

Answer:	Yes, they will BUT, these aren't really designed for use in an electric drill, these are designed for use in 1/4" hex bit screwdrivers primarily.

Answer:	Contrary to some answers, the case is very well designed and there is a very simple way of getting the bits back into the case. All you have to do is turn the bit with the flat sides to either side (pointy side to the front , back) then slide it down into the empty slotted area; there should be no resistance if done correctly. The simply push the bits back down seating it into the holder. It's as simple as that.

Answer:	It might if you put enough pressure on it. This little screw driver has very little power. I am not very happy with it. My two main reasons are the handle is to large and the bits are so short. There is one on the market that looks like a little gun shape my son had one and I loved it till I broke it that was what I was looking for when I purchased this. Hopes this helps.

Answer:	I am REALLY surprised on how long the batteries last. I have been using it for fairly heavy screwing jobs and even though I don't use it for a week or two so far it's ready to go with plenty of torque. Just keep a couple of good batteries nearby and onward.

Answer:	Yes, you could drill holes but you need drill bits with special ends to fit the screwdriver. You can also use spade bits. The screwdriver may not drill many holes until it needs recharging.

Answer:	Yes, a lot of us use the 5ah 20V since it lasts a lot longer..

Answer:	No, slightly less...by about 10 ft.lb. BUT- SnapOn uses NiCad 14.4v and total cost is 3x more. Dewalt uses a 20v Li-on battery and would last longer. I bought the bare tool & have 4 batts to interchange with my DW impact driver & DW hammer drill. The 3/8" is a good tool for bench work and some smaller auto tasks. Get a 1/2" for the big stuff. Can't go wrong with Dewalt. I'd never buy a NiCad or NiMh battery tool again, these batteries don't have a shelf life and have memory recharge issues.
Question:	Will a 20v Max 1.5 battery fit this impact
Answer:	Yes it will fit. The 1.5 may not last as long between charges. I use a 3ah battery instead but use it daily/commercially.
