Our filter contains KDF55 and Calcium Sulfite, which are the most important, effective and expensive ingredients in making the water softer and cleaner and our shower filter has DOUBLE the amount of these ingredients compared to competitors filters! When you see filters that say 8 or 10 stage it means they have more ingredients however these ingredients have very little effect but they take a lot of space therefore they have less space for the more important and effective ingredients we mentioned above. Magnesium alloys are mixtures of magnesium with other metals, often aluminum, zinc, manganese, silicon, copper, rare earths and zirconium. these are used to start a fire, that you either cook over with metal pots and pans or use for heat by adding wood for fuel. since your food or self would not be in contact with the magnesium, it matters not if they are an alloy or pure magnesium. Please do not eat them. Milk of magnesia is a better source of magnesium if you feel yourself lacking in magnesium, plus its ph buffered.

Answer:	They will fit the ROES-50 and most of the systems that uses industry standard size.
Question:	How long can these filters be stored before being put into use? Is there a shelf life
Answer:	The FILTER-SET only includes the replacement filters, it does not include the replacement O-rings.

Answer:	Hello, the Ultimate FILTER-SET are typically replaced about once a year depending on water quality and usage going through the filters. The O-rings are typically replaced about every 3 years, but it is always good to have them on hand as backups just in case. Answer:	Best I can tell you is that it fits my cs-450 so if your 520 takes the same filter then you should be good.
