Answer:	These filters actually do not have shelf life, however, it is still best to use them within the 2 year period

Answer:	futong1005, for the APEC reverse osmosis system shown in Amazon as the first three stages of filtration, which I change out every 6 months, before the 4th and 5th stages, which I change out after following online APEC bleaching sanitation instructions, once a year. Per the instructions, the 5th stage is changed out after running bleach through the whole system with the first three stage filters and 4th stage removed and canister covers tightly in place, and old 5th stage fully in place until after the bleach and running sufficient water through to clear out the bleach. Then, change out the 5th stage, and install new 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages, and follow instructions to clear carbon from the new filters. You should not run bleach through a new 5th stage, because it will ruin it.

I have a very large head and the fact that the glasses are made exclusively with 2 day old Mahi Tuna caught off the coast of fisherman’s wharf makes them a little more Flimsy that I’d like. Plus the smell. I highly recommend them if you are planning on luring small rodents in for capture to feed to your python or if you want everyone to think you have a feminine hygiene issue. Otherwise, they’re super sweet.

Answer:	I have a cabinet shelf full of insulated stainless water bottles including hydro flask and a couple other premium name brands. This is better than my hydro flask for a few reasons. 1 =better lid. 2 =A better exterior texture as this model has a light texture which adds grip instead of smooth like the hydro. 3= the base has a shallow protective ring attached to the bottom so a drop on its bottom doesn't dent the actual insulated container. Its blended so you may not visually be able to tell its a separate piece. 4 = the base has a rubber non slip pad built into the bottom this prevents slips, sound, and condensation at the base contact point. 5 = much cheaper. For anyone interested this is the same bottle as the Avex, likely made by Avex and simply rebranded for Coleman

I even ended up buying 2 24oz ones for the kids since it seemed quite durable.

Question:	How wide is the opening
Answer:	About half the size of a soda pop can opening....
Question:	Is this dishwasher safe
Answer:	I would rinse regularly and wash only once in a while in the upper rack just like with juicer parts or my tall 16 oz bullet blender cups (I use almost every morning) since the manufacturer says to hand wash it. The main problem is it is so tall that any machine will have problems reaching the bottom. I have the same problem with my 16 oz bullet blender cups. I have to hand rinse when done and then hand wash every few uses and then once a while machine wash. They are plastic so eventually the get hairline cracks but these should do much better. Since the heating element is on the bottom they recommend using the top rack. I have had "dishwasher safe" plastic items melt if put in the lower rack but the upper rack is safe. The heating element gets much hotter then the water and air above it.
Question:	Does this bottle fit in a car cup holder
Answer:	Yes and No...... If you use the bottle only it fits in a car cup holder nicely. It’s tall but I have never had any problems with keeping the bottle secure during regular driving or turns. However.... today I had a cloth bottle cover on it. That made the bottle too wide for the cup holder. I was unable to secure it in the cup holder at all.
Question:	Is it safe to cut up lemons and limes to put in water, or might the acids damage the stainless steel
Answer:	I’ve been adding lemon juice to these bottles for years. No corrosion or staining. Note that citrus reacts with aluminum, not stainless steel.

Question:	Will this work with Lemon or other acid based fruits used for flavoring? I've heard several water type bottles don't handle this very well
Answer:	Yes. Remember not to overfill the canteen before trying to freeze it, since the water inside is still subject to the laws of molecular physics and will expand. This could dent the metal interior or lid if you're not careful. In my experience, the 32oz takes longer than overnight (8-10hrs) to freeze due to the insulation, so give yourself enough time if you want solid ice.

Therefore, this ACB Filter 5-Micron, may need to be replaced more often as it is designed to filter out smaller particles compared to the Pentek Filter with larger pores at 20-micron. Question:	How do I know when the filter needs to be replaced
Answer:	I don't know the physical features of your system, but this filter is 9 9/16" long and has two silicone (looks like) seals on both ends which makes it 9 7/8" long. It is 2 3/4 in diameter and has a 1" hole for the water inlet (both ends). As far as lasting one year, that would depend on the condition of the water you are filtering. Mine are lasting about 2-3 months, but mine is well water.
Question:	Can you please tell me what the replacement filter # is? I bought the green one a little more than a year ago
Answer:	Hello,This system makes up to 50 gallons per day. Filter replacements are usually done once every 6-12 months depending on the usage and the area you live in. Assuming you live in a decent area and you replace the filters once a year, then the system can make up to 18,250 gallons before replacing the filters. We hope that answered your question.
