| Answer: | I purchased 4 boxes of 3 each, and all the boxes are beat up and split. I know it was delivered by an Amazon truck, so I'm guessing they're old stock from the warehouse. These filters come packaged different ways, sometimes sealed on a card and sometimes unsealed in a box like this. A few years ago, I stocked up on a bunch packaged in boxes and unsealed like these, but it was newer white box, not this old blue design, which supports my theory that they're old stock. I don't like receiving questionable boxes, and Amazon should give explanation, but I feel pretty confident that although the boxes are old and beat up, the filters are OK and use them, but do what you feel right about. You can return them as defective / not as described, because you weren't told in the description that they would be beat up questionable boxes, and you have every reason to be concerned. |

With a quick change of lens, my MP-E 65mm macro lens is ready to go for most general macro photos.... it is so much easier than using extension tubes. I can achieve a full range of close-up to easily capture the image I am seeking. Also, because it adjusts automatically, it is a no fuss answer to high quality Macro photography. If you can't afford it or if you only occasionally do macro work, extension tubes are a less expensive option; still, they are more of a struggle to use. I love my Canon MP-E 65mm lens, it is my favorite of all lenses to use. |

Just continue to suck from the straw in the position as I have described and you will not have any problem. |

| Answer: | As far as I know, there are 2 orifices on the bottom of the filter. One is for the water to flow through the filter before flowing. There other is a connector to the base. The filtered water flows out the bottom of the unit. |

| Answer: | 1 system with 2 filters. The "system" does not mean the water filter included, so one of the 2 filters will be the first one you use, and then the second will replace that one when it's done. |

| Answer: | This one is the ADVANCED water filter faucet system. The advanced has two better (IMHO) features: 1/ The Basic has two stream choices, the filtered water and a straight, ordinary faucet-type stream; the Advanced has THREE stream choices: the two in the Basic AND a many-streamed spray (I use it for cleaning veggies in a sieve, for instance) . . . . 2/ The levers on them are different: the one on the Advanced is easier to manipulate and, is kind of half-moon shaped (the lever on the Basic is vertical-rectangular shaped); if you look real closely on the packaging you can see it. I've had both and chose the basic by mistake after my first one was worn out and I didn't know there were two choices. They don't mention the differences on the packaging, but I called Brita to ask why they changed from the three-choice one and they told me there were the two models having the differences I previously described. The one with the 3 streams (and the half-moon lever) is the Advanced model and costs about $8 more. |
