Answer:	I do not use the #2 coffee filters but rather just a 8-12 cup basket filter (they are much cheaper and work just fine). I mold the filter to the inside of the coffee dripper by pressing it against the sides of the dripper. I also rinse the filter with water once it is in the coffee dripper (just run some water into it and pour it out). Once the filter is in the cone shaped dripper and wet, I add a scoop of ground coffee and then pour the hot water over it. Never had a problem with the filter blowing out. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The actual dimensions of the base are slightly over 4.5 inches for the outer ring on the bottom, and slightly over 2.5 inches for the inner ring. The important dimensions are what these slight overages allow for, which is that this device fits securely over any cup with a round top opening between 2.5-4" in diameter. A tiny espresso cup with a rim of 2" or less would likely work too, if balanced very carefully. It's a very good design, and good quality porcelain. My Chemex and Aeropress are in the cabinet now. Answer:	We have tried our regular sized cup and a larger mug that both work well. For reference, the size of this dripper is L: 4.4" x H: 3.1".

Answer:	I am not sure where it was made but I very happy with the decision to buy it. It is ceramic and very well made. Nice and sturdy. Much better than plastic. I use it a lot.

Question:	Hello, Is the soap dispenser top removable to refill the container
Answer:	The base is about 4". Our mugs are about as wide, but when the cone is placed on the mug it is very unstable. Not a good design to be pouring hot liquid into. The cone itself is only 2.25" high. The filters are about twice as high. You have to pour a very small amount of water or it over flows. We are trying to make do, but I am disappointed with the design.

Answer:	Absolutely. The dripper can sit on top of a regular sized cup, a larger mug, an insulated cup (like a Tervis), an insulated travel mug and a carafe.
