Answer:	Metal! I promise you that you will not regret buying this shower valve. I’m very picky about what I install and this is a great product.

Answer:	You’ll have to add a flow control valve to your shower head. It’s a $10.00 item that you can get @ your hardware store and very easy to install. All that is needed is pipe tape and a cresent wrench.
Question:	What cleaning products are safe to use on this seat without rubbing off the enamel surface
Answer:	On the notes it says that: “VALVE REQUIRED: This trim kit requires valve # 2510 to complete installation” You should already have the Moen Valve #2510 inside your wall. However you I would highly recommend that you buy and replace your Moen Cartridge that is inside your valve. Best one I found was the all “Moen 1222HD Commercial Heavy-Duty Brass Shell PosiTemp One-Handle Tub Shower or Shower-Only Faucet Cartridge Replacement” worth the slightly extra cost for the all brass HD part. Money well spent.

The difference from older version hinges is that you do not lift off the seat from the toilet you pull it. Answer:	The seat is 1 1/4 " thick. The opening is 12" X 8" at the widest points. You do not see any screws with the seat up or down. Nice sturdy seat... I have already purchased one for another bathroom.

Answer:	The throne seat and lid is manufacture from high density composite wood (HD) with enamel finish. I weigh round 240 after dumpage occurs. Being a trained professional I can report the the lid holds up well when stinging on it to reach dust bunnies located at the corners of the ceiling. Please remember this use is not recommended for the general public and under no circumstance should you dance around whilst on the lid ...

Answer:	I have the same issue. And I can't tighten it any further because there's not enough room for the wrench to lay flat, so I have to tighten it by hand. So the seat doesn't go all the way back because it's blocked by the screws.

We suggest using a mild detergent (such as dish washing soap) mixed with warm water. Rinse clean, dry with a soft towel, and let the seat air-dry to ensure the hinge area dries completely. Do not use bleach, pine oils, essential oils, chlorine, acid, scouring powders, detergents, disinfectants, or products in aerosol cans. Harsh chemicals can rub away the paint finish on toilet seats and the metal finish on hinges. This can create a dirty worn-away look on molded wood seats as well as corrosion and peeling of the metal hinge finish. Other Brands

People accustomed to heavy, stiff wood seats may think plastic is bad, but for harsh environments such as bathrooms, high-quality plastic is much better for several reasons. Painted wood seats and vinyl-covered foam soft seats are cheaper to produce and don’t last very long. These seats usually have fewer features (no Slow Close or Quick Release), fewer bumpers (2 instead of 4), inferior plastic hinges and plastic mounting hardware. Eurocast is more porous than polypropylene, so it breathes better against the skin, but may stain if urine or dark liquids are left on the surface for long periods of time (for example, in kid's bathrooms or on the underside of the seat, where maintenance is often neglected).

Answer:	The measurement where the hinges go, my old wooden one measures a tiny bit more than 5 1/2, from center to center. This is with the hinges on, it's slightly almost 2mm longer looks like, but I am not sure when i take it out.Any suggestions of this will fit? This toilet is very old, called "Standard" Ejecto.

Answer:	This seat is pretty solid, much more so than the one I had previously. I'm 250 pounds and there are no problems with the three seats I have in my home. The plastic is quite a bit thicker all around and the hinges more sturdy than my previous seats. It's just better made. I'd say its a pretty good bet that you will not have problems with this seat.

Answer:	It appears to be very durable. I have replaced all of bathrooms with this seat. They are bleached weekly and do not show any sign of fading/rubbing off. Question:	When I added this item to my cart the notice said shipping time 1-2 months. Why so long
Answer:	the riser seat comes with extra long bolts that go through the riser seat ,the regular seat, & lid. .there R 2 wing nuts for the bottom, it comes with 2 plastic washers, their too big to fit in the square covers that hide the bolts, you'll have to buy 2 smaller metal washers, no big deal..there is a cut out on both sides of the riser, to raise it up, for cleaning.. cheaper than a new right height toilet, and a lot less work, plus 2" higher..
Question:	My toilet is not bright white but I tried biscuit and almond and they are too dark. Is crane white or plain white more of an off white/cream
Answer:	This raised toilet seat is NOT soft..but I would think it could be a problem if it were because it would squish instead of providing a secure seat. Since you use a regular toilet seat on top of the riser you could get one of those soft seats to provide more comfort .
Question:	What is the purpose of the small rubber plugs that are included

Size

Centoco 700 and 700SC are round seats designed to fit most standard round toilet bowls in the USA and Canada. Round bowls are approximately 16.5" or 42cm from the center of the toilet seat mounting holes to the front outside edge of the bowl.

Easy to Install

1. Place screw through slot in hinge post and toilet bowl mounting holes.

2. Start nuts on screw from underside of toilet bowl.

3. Position seat as desired, on toilet bowl and tighten from above with a conventional screw driver.

4. Close and lock hinge cover in place.

1. Lid Not Staying Up: Check that the toilet bowl, tank and lid are level and adjust as needed. Verify that the tank cover is in the proper position and not pushing the seat lid forward.

Answer:	If by 'Checked" you mean will seat and lid stop or close slowly , No. Seat and lid will fall,and since the seat is solid they are not quiet when they slam down

Answer:	No, The Bemis seat has a completely different bolt down system from most seats. It appears to be very strong. Mine has never moved and I'm heavy. You can remove it to clean too.
Question:	I ordered biscuit but it is essentially white. I need a cream color. What is the difference between bone and almond
Answer:	Since I ordered Dresden Blue toilet seat, I'm sorry that I cannot offer a reliable answer regarding the difference between bone and almond on this product. In my experience with other decorating, bone is close to white, and almond is much more creamy/yellowish. Hope this helps.

Question:	What are the dimensions of the seat
Answer:	15" length (from front to back not including the tabs) and 14" width.
Question:	How large is the "hole"?? I presumed they are all standard, but the one I have now is smaller that before
Answer:	Seat is 14 1/4 by 15 1/2. Hole is 8 1/4 by 10 1/4. Overall length fr the hinge holes to the front is 17". Hope I didn't give you more than you ask for.
Question:	Will this fit a 16.6" X 14" round toilet
Answer:	It fits the 14" wide but may be shy on the 16.6" , unless your measurement is from the screw holes to the front of the toilet. Then it would be fine. My toilet is standard round, like most are unless you have a more commercial style one to fit it on.
Question:	How to I install the seat
Answer:	Pretty much similar to the other responses. 1. Remove the old seat 2. Put the bolts through the holes (I found that it helped test screwing the the bolts and nuts to clean out any leftover plastic shavings from the factory) 3. Attach the nuts with the round/flatish side to the floor. Hold the wing nut and screw the bolt from the top. 4. I found that I had to tighten them pretty good to keep the seat from shifting around when the toilet is being used. It's a 'crapshoot' because you don't want to break the plastic bolt. 5. Place the seat over the bolts in the upright position and tighten the quick fasteners. 6. Pray to your god that it lasts for at least one year.

Question:	What is the hole opening size
Answer:	For the round version its only 9.5 inches, i had to return it as it was too small (my old seat was 10.5")

Answer:	Both should be "Slow Close", if this is not the case then unfortunately your new seat is defective. I have two of these and both work correctly as "slow close"

Answer:	I do sit on the lid and has my husband,!he is 6' and roughly 175 lbs.. The entire piece is constructed of a very hard plastic. Both the lid and the seat close slowly.. I will add that I absolutely love this feature!
