The head is designed to sit in a cradle. Yes the hose is plastic. Fortunately our old shower head had a metal hose. Beside these disadvantages, I have to say that Fury feels like a shower head that uses a lot more water. |

That being said, the lower seat portion is very strong and the slow close (for seat and lid) have been terrific. My kids can't slam the lid if their lives depended on it =) |

| Answer: | Well, the little plastic housing is about one inch wide. Since your bowl is oval, the distance on the inner end is about 1/2 inch and then as the bowl curves it is about 3/4 in. Hope this helps. By the way, I am extremely happy with this soft close plastic toilet seat. Good quality. Made in America! |

| Answer: | I am not sure what style name your Kohler model is, however I have a Kohler Cimmaron ADA elongated bowl and it fits perfectly (either the Mayfair or the Bemis as they both seem to have this same 120SLOWC stock number). |

| Answer: | The slow close mechanism is inside the hydraulic hinge. To ensure the mechanism will be working for the longest time we recommend to tap the seat to close not to force it down. By pushing the seat down or sitting on the lid there is extra pressure that will wear down mechanism faster.
