Step 1: Adjust the rod length which fits your space best.

| Answer: | The way these come out of the box the factory adjustment is set to stop the valve short of fully opening on the hot side. Simple solution: 1. Remove cap from handle end and remove the phillips head screw inside to take off the handle. 2. Remove the torx head screw that is inside the valve stem. Then you be able to pull out the out the plastic adjustment ring to move it a couple of clicks to the left for hotter water. Grab it by the triangular piece to pull it out and re-seat it. 3. Put everything back together in the order of removal. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes to do yourself. I believe the torx head screw is 15, if I remember correctly. Good luck. |
