Question:	Will this prevent blue jeans from staining the leather
Answer:	I can not see this working against staining the leather. I had the same problem with my leather seats in the car. Lucky Brand jeans bleed the worst. Only a seat cover can prevent this from happening. I have used this Guardsman letter lotion and spot cleaner on our high quality leather sofa for years and years, to keep the leather smooth and flexible. Our 17 year old sofa looks like new. I'd either switch brand of jeans or buy a cover;-)

Answer:	If the seats of your car are leather, I think it would work fine. It just puts a very thin film or covering over the leather. You can't see it as you apply it, except it's damp. It dries quickly. I've used it for years on all my leather furniture inside the house, so I can't specifically address 3-digit temps but my guess is that it would be fine. All it does is make the leather supple - doesn't get brittle like leather can get when it ages. I love it. Don't think you'd have a problem - I think it's worth a try. If you're really worried, you could try it on a small area that's not seen easily and see if very high temps inside the car would affect the leather. Just a suggestion.

Answer:	DO NOT USE ON PEBBLED LEATHER! I realize this question is from a while ago, but I read the previous answer and thought that this would be safe to use on my new Coach pebbled leather Rogue. I used it only to find that it considerable smoothed out the pebble and totally changed the feel of the leather. It feels plastic and spongy now. The texture of the leather was so gorgeous before. I looked it up and found that you are not supposed to use any type of product on pebbled leather because it can smooth the pebbles out. I had no idea. The bright side is that now I won't worry about damaging my new bag when I use it. It is already sort of ruined.

Answer:	Black or very dark brown dress shoes that you choose to wear in the rain. Otherwise find a good leather conditioner that is known to not darken leather. There are more than one on the market that are not supposed to. I have some very light leather and Bick 4 has not darkened them. Let's also has a product that is not supposed to darken too. Answer:	I wouldn't. The spray is made for leather. Not a synthetic look alike. Synthetic vinyl shouldnt need protection it is made to be its own protection. Leather is porous therefore absorbs, vinyl is not porous therefore it is easily wiped clean. Dirt and water will sit on the surface of non porous material.

Answer:	I can't say 100% that it's okay since I don't own a pair but it shouldn't discolor your boots or anything as long as you don't overspray one spot. Move back and fourth consistently and wait 1-2 hours before adding another coat so it has time to dry. It hasn't discolored any of my shoes which includes a pair of suede material shoes!

Know your type of leather

Before you protect or clean you leather, make sure you know what type of leather you have.

Aniline (also known as Natural) (A)

The reason that Aniline is called Natural is because there are no protective treatments applied, and the actual gaining imperfections are unique from piece to piece - making it much like that of a human and their respective finger prints. With no protection applied, Aniline Leather tends to show wear and tear, UV exposure, scratches, and much more of leather much more frequently.

Semi-Aniline (A)

Semi-Aniline is more practical than Aniline simply because it has a thin coating over it that offers protection. In order to display the natural appearance of the leather, Semi-Aniline is covered with a slightly pigmented coating to which transparent colors are applied to give the appearance of leather. The Semi-Aniline is ideal for those who are looking to keep the natural look of Aniline while having the protection of Pigmented/Top Coated.

Pigmented/Top Coated (P)

This leather type is the most commonly used finishing technique for leather. The finish consists of an opaque (does not reflect light) base coat followed by a protective topcoat. Since the natural color of the leather is covered completely, the leather can be identified by its uniform color. This type of leather is most common on furniture or automobile seats due to its durability and protection from stains and spilling.

Nubuck (N)

Nubuck is Aniline leather, only sanded down to give a rough, velvety surface. Nubuck is ideal for furniture since it more durable and less expensive than suede. Nubuck is sanded on the outer surface of the leather rather than the inside like that of suede. Due to the easy staining qualities of nubuck, it is crucial to remove stains as soon as they happen and apply protecting solutions on a regular basis.

Pull-Up (X)

Pull-Up is an aniline dyed leather that carries natural oils and/or waxes instead of being covered in topcoats. The name 'pull-up' describes how the leather shows a lighter color whenever it is bent, stretched, or pulled. This leather is categorized as natural since they do not have a thick topcoat. Surface pull-up scratches are easy to remove - simply rub your finger over the scratch. The oils from your fingers will smooth out the blemish.

Cleaning and Scratch Remover

Cleaning: The first step in the process would be to clean the area. With the area of the leather clean, this enables the stain remover, scratch remover, and protecting solutions the necessary conditions to work the best.

But if you decide to try it, I'd suggest experimenting on an out-of-sight area, such as a part of the hem or sleeve or another area where the outside material is on the inside of the garment. See if it stains, discolors, or causes any other problem. If there is a problem, then it shouldn't ruin the garment because it shouldn't show. I've used the product on leather, suede, and fabric shoes and purses with no problem.
