It could be 2" or 1-1/2" whatever size drain it calls for is the same size pipe u run. Just make sure there is a good pitch toward the waste line. The drain should come with all the stuff u need to install it. U will need to buy all the other glue for the pipes

Answer:	Andy, Single threshold means that the base can only accept a shower door on one side and the other three sides must be installed to walls. So basically, it is an alcove type of installation. A double threshold base has 2 walls that can accept a shower enclosure and 2 walls that the base is installed against. Question:	How solid does the base feel when showering? I heard these bases don't feel rock solid
Answer:	Great question. It is for shower doors, but you can use with a curtain. The curtain would have to be installed lower because the base is only 2-3/4" high. I hope this helps. Question:	Is there any color choices
Answer:	I have installed 4 of them Two them lined up. But all had to be re-piped due to smaller diameter pipe in the ground and adapting to 2 inch so it’s hard to say. Go to website and look at owners manual. They give dimensions of the centerline of hole. Good luck

Answer:	I made sure it was mudded to its fullest extent and mine is rock solid.....I put Schluter waterproofing down too...as well as all over my bathroom floor to prevent any leaks to the downstairs area. I love it, very easy to clean !!

Answer:	Off of the left corner, the center of the drain is located 12" x 18". You would measure 18" along the side wall and 12" into the standing area. Answer:	When uninstalled, the weight limit is 250 lbs. Once installed on the required bed of mortar, DreamLine feels that the weight limit far exceeds this. Thank you for considering DreamLine.

Answer:	DreamLine has many shower enclosures that would fit on this shower base. For a sliding enclosure, you would need one that is 34" by 60".
