Answer:	It is already starting the bend arc before 3 1/2". It wouldn't work for us as we needed several inches to reach existing pipe and height of shower ceiling to low. Concept is great. Would have used in other remodel had we not had the wall open and raised pipe. We ended up using a 3-4" straight crome nipple pipe and adjustable shower arm to get more height.

Answer:	5 inches from the wall to the highest point of the curve -- I think that's what you are asking. After installation, the shower head will be about 7 inches higher than the exit from the wall--or about 8 1/2-9" higher than a normal shower head. This has been a huge improvement. My house was built about 1960, and the shower was really uncomfortable--this was a major improvement. (Now, if they will just figure out how to make the shower stall bigger!) Really a great product.

But after installing and using it, the rubber coated hose is preferred since it is easier to keep clean by simply wiping the smooth surface down, where it doesn't have crevices to trap/build-up with dirt and soap like the metal. The hose's coiled shape is easy to manipulate once the hot water is turned on and the hose material warms up.

Answer:	Every thing has. You are not eating it or don't drink water from it. Starbucks has prop 65 on all its drink.

Answer:	No. From the threads on the end, straight line to the long neck is only about 4 inches apart. It would not work if placed flat to rain straight down. It would look a little odd too IMO since its not designed for that.
Question:	If I am replacing an 8" shower arm instead of the standard 6" will this product have the length to clear the wall? Length from threads to bend
Answer:	After installing the vertical pipe is 1 1/4” away from our wall.

Answer:	The 12” bar from north to south projects out from wall I’d say 1 or 2”. It hugs the wall pretty close.

Answer:	this pipe is threaded on both ends and screws in , a 1/2" brass inlet should be in the wall, be sure to have 4 to 5 inches clearance to the ceiling for twisting it in and remember to put Teflon tape at both ends before attaching. Also the flange has a rubber gasket that fits snugly to the pipe just press it against the wall

Question:	Are the sides interchangeable for attaching the shower head? My current one doesn't have a long enough drop for everyone to reach
Answer:	They are interchangeable. However, I found that one side screwed into the wall pipe perfectly right with the arm in the downward position. When I tried to flip it, the arm was pointed toward the ceiling when it was good and tight. So i either had to leave it not as tight (couldn’t do without worry about a leak) or flip the arm. That may not be the case every time, depending on the threading of your wall pipe.

Answer:	If your fitting is 3/4" OD, then it will probably fit. The description says the size is 1/2" but that is apparently the ID of the pipe. It fits a standard 3/4" shower head. Note other reviewers warn that it will not support a heavy shower head.
