What I noticed when I installed that it isn't the showerhead making the noise so much as the shower valves. Remember, this low GPM showerhead increases pressure in the mixer valves. After I installed I discovered mine let out a whine if I don't open them fully. However, I just re-learned how to adjust the knobs and the whine went away. |

I combine the HighSierra shower head with a Delta Faucet U4920-PK Universal Showering Components 3-Way Shower Arm Diverter with Handshower Mount and a Delta Faucet UA902-PK Universal Showering Components 12 -Inch Adjustable Shower Arm. I install the 12-inch adjustable arm on the pass through fitting, then attach the shower head to the end of the arm. This provides for plenty of flexibility when positioning the shower head and more elevation if needed. On the bottom fitting of the 3-way diverter I attach a hand shower with traditional 2.5 gallon flow. I thought some might not like the LFS shower head and that the 2.5 gallon hand shower was a good contingency plan, but so far everyone likes the HighSierra LFS. The hand shower is useful for shower cleaning and the 3-way diverter is good enough to leave it mounted during use as an overhead shower. |

| Answer: | Not sure about your description of “ball at end of shower .” After taking your existing shower head off and it appears that there is something “inside” the pipe that Shower head attaches, it could be a pressure gage do the water 💦 does not come out extremely strong. Without seeing a picture I am assuming that if the outside area of water pipe has the screw indentation for attaching a new shower head you should be okay. There is a plastic piece already in the new unit to prevent this strong surge of water pressure as well. Hope this helps clarify what you are attempting to describe |
