Answer:	The only seal is the thin outside of the plastic washer under the head of the pop-up; it seals against the i.d. of the drain tube. I wouldn't expect it to seal well. Mine keeps water in the sink for 10-15 minutes, enough for most purposes. I have a 1.25" rubber plug to use if I need to hold water longer.

What I see from the pic is that type A has a drain stopper that is inset and type B is top flush. I have Style B Oil Rubbed Bronze
Question:	Bought 3, all of which included a pop-up drain. One drain however was missing the black washer, which makes it useless. How do I get this corrected
Answer:	Yes. Mine are also 1 1/2". Note that the drain plug is wider than the one you now have, but I like the look much more and so do all family and friends who have seen it. I think it makes the basin look more updated. By the way, when you receive it you'll think it is too big for your drain, at least I did, but it fits perfectly. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have a soft sponge stored right behind the sink, and just wipe the sink down when I am done. I don't even use detergent when I just wipe the sink down. It usually does the trick. Otherwise I have used all purpose bathroom cleaner. I haven't had to use Soft Scrub, on this sink, as it wasn't necessary. I bought four sinks, for two bathrooms. They are all in perfect condition. I really like the way they look and am very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	I don't have exact dimensions - but I can tell you it is not tall. It is pretty much a standard height for a lavatory faucet. If you are looking for something tall - pass on this.

Answer:	I have this faucet, it is US compatible. It is over a deep sink, the water pressure we have is strong, doesn't splash out, but the potential is there if you turn it full blast.

Question:	Does anyone know the maximum mounting thickness between the sink flange and bottom washer? I need at least 2 3/8 inches
Answer:	Probably not. I don’t have contacts, so can’t say for sure. The elliptical slots on the side of the basket measure 1/4 x 3/8 of an inch. I suspect a soft contact could slip through that size of a hole. A hard contact probably would not.
Question:	Does this item fit the standardized bathroom sink
Answer:	Maybe I can help. There are two main parts to this sink drain: First, the "tube" portion that fits through the bottom hole of the sink and then, with a large locking nut squeezes the two "angled gaskets" to affix the tube in the sink hole with no leaks. Second, the "plug" portion that has three parts: a hair basket at the bottom, a gasket in the middle, and a large diameter cap at the top. Holding this assembly in your hand you can squeeze and release the basket toward the cap to alternate between it's "popped-up" or "dropped-down" positions. When it's in the popped-up position the water drains freely. When it's in the dropped-down position the thin middle gasket is just the right size to slide in to and seal the drain hole. I don't know exactly what's going on in your drain but I suspect that the cap is touching the sink bowl and not allowing the cap and gasket to drop down far enough to seal the drain hole. Answer:	I believe so. I had a 1 5/8" hole and had plenty of room

Answer:	It is 72 MM or 2 7/8-Inch.
Question:	what stopper do you recommend to work well with this design
Answer:	‘Standard size’ is a meaningless description as it depends on when the previous sink was installed. I find out the hard, waste of my time, way. My drain hole is 1.5 inch. My drain stop is 1 5/16. This item does not fit. Minimum drain size is 1.6 inch. The only part that is universal is the most bottom portion of the pipe that goes into flow trap.
Question:	Does it come with the stopper
Answer:	Yes, usually used in basins that do not have a place for the typical drain rod. We chose it because we disn't have room for the usual drain rod in a small pedestal sink we installed. You would typically have a need for this type of drain based on design or lack of room.
