Answer:	Yes, it is made in China. I bought it several years today. If I were to consider purchasing it today, I would not.

Answer:	I followed the washing directions and washed in cold water with like colors. The colors do not bleed into each other on the fabric, but they do fade, even after the first wash. So they look great when you first receive it but then they fade and the colors don't look as vibrant. Disappointing, but they still are good aprons.
