Answer:	Hi Erin, Not sure I can help you. My sink is 6" deep and sits on top of the counter. When I turn the water on full, in my sink the water hits the sink stopper and drains out. There is no splash. Even if my sink was 4", if the stopper was in the same place there would be no splash. Just a guess, how the sink drains or collects water may be a factor. Good luck.

Question:	What size pvc drain pipes do I need to buy to match up with this drain? I dont know what "standard size" is
Answer:	The only seal is the thin outside of the plastic washer under the head of the pop-up; it seals against the i.d. of the drain tube. I wouldn't expect it to seal well. Mine keeps water in the sink for 10-15 minutes, enough for most purposes. I have a 1.25" rubber plug to use if I need to hold water longer.
Question:	Can i get a popup oil rubbed drain that fits 2.25" opening threads all the way up
Answer:	It is quite a big - 2-1/2" in diameter.
Question:	What is the difference between type A and type B
Answer:	If you mean the overflow hole in the sink, then no. Must purchase separately. Some are available on Amazon. Not sure of the color you need. Search for "bathroom sink overflow ring".
Question:	I have a vessel sink with 1 1/2" drain hole. Will this one fit
Answer:	I could not find any way to adjust the pop up drain. I'm having the same problem that the pop up drain does not close 100%. I can hear some water leaking through woth the pop up fully closed.

Answer:	This was 1-1/4" pipe that went into a 1-1/2" pipe.

Answer:	Mine had the opening for the overflow.

Answer:	yes, no bar on this, which means you need to pair it with a sink that has no bar on it as well. (I guess you could still have a non-functional pull-bar on your sink...)Anyway, yes, you just click it down like a button to close, and click it again to open.I've had it for a few weeks now, and it works very well.
Question:	how do I get these to stop leaking
Answer:	It depends on "where" it's leaking.We installed this unit n a "standard-under mount sink with overflow". We discovered that it would leak/trickle around the exposed threads just under the large retaining nut! Perplexed...because we thought the supplied flexible silicone seals would definitely seal the basin on the top & bottom. Unfortunately this was not true. After completely disassembling the unit, we summarized that the seal(s) were bunching up as we tightened the retaining nut. We decided to apply plumbers putty between the top seal & the basin & no more leaks! I hope this helps you...Good Luck!
