Answer:	They’re designed to hold things down, or together. Not hold them up. The question is hard to answer because you would use these to hold something in place against an outside force: wind, torque, centrifugal force, acceleration. You wouldn’t hang something with them, it would bounce. You could strap down a 500 lb roof box if it has a non-slip base and there were good anchors all around. You could lose a 20 lb sheet of plywood in a high wind. Weight isn’t the issue.
