These straps definitely meet or exceed the FMCSA regulations regarding cargo securement rules 393.102 & 393.104, when properly installed and maintained.

Answer:	i'd say yes, but the way I have done it is to ratchet the tire down to start to set the bead, put a rope with a eye lope around the tire and remove the ratchet strap. as the tire starts to fill you want to let the rope out, safer that way.

Question:	Are these two items that each have two straps and one separate ratchet or is this one item that has two straps and one ratchet
Answer:	One item - two straps and one ratchet. I was unsure myself when I ordered!
Question:	For the life of me, I can't get this to release the strap. Any tips
Answer:	If the strap is in tension, there is a release kinda on the backside of the metal parts. Pull the release as you open the ratchet...sometimes takes 2 pulls. These straps were apart when they arrived. You may have loaded the strap backwards. Try another configuration.
