The reason I ordered one on Amazon (other than the fact that it's the best way to buy :) ) is that Home Depot doesn't sell the right one for mine. Answer:	You need to disassemble the motor (device above the heater) and tighten all of the nuts, bolts and screws. If it looks dirty and rusty, spray some WD-40. We just fixed ours by doing it. It was really obnoxiously loud, and now it is a normal bathroom exhaust. So happy!

Answer:	I was unable to program either one of my two Toyota Camry (2007 and 2018) Homelink systems to work with our new Ghost Controls gate system. Used two different remotes that worked on their own. Spent about 30-45 minutes, followed the instructions exactly, kept the buttons pressed until they timed out on their own -- at least 2 minutes -- no sign of recognitiion by the Homelink systems. My Genie garage door opener signals were previously cloned on both cars without difficulty, and continue to work.

Answer:	This item uses electricity mainly, the batteries are only to allow the motor still running for a certain amount of open/close activity of the gate when there is no electricity due to a power shortage basically, it is not mainly battery operated. The installation manual should have the necessary information you need for the electrical connection, obviously you would need to have a power line/supply in the area where you will put the motor to feed the power. It is easy to assemble and it works great.

Answer:	All depends on what kind of gate system you are using, if is a wheel system you are required a post track to keep the gate on line and wheels to carry the gate, or v track system requires a v channel track anchor to the ground to guide and align the gate and v grove wheels to ride on the track, both track systems need to be twice the size of the gate in order to close and open complete.

Answer:	I called Aleko directly. The two units that can use a battery backup (or solar) directly on the system is the AC1300 or AC2200 (AC=chain). I think there is an AR1350 and AR2250 (rack and pinon) that will also take a battery or solar. Or as the previous person stated, you could buy a UPS backup system and connect it. The AC1400 does NOT have a backup battery or solar option directly connected to the unit.

Answer:	I have had mine for two years. Have a 24 ft steel frame gate and have 3 extra ft of chain the way it came. If you can open the gate by hand with one hand easily, it will pull it. Buy extra manual keys as the plastic handles break easily but the are cheap. The remotes are ok but I got an extra to hang in the garage. The remotes have not worked several times and each time it was because my mounts in the gate slipped and the magnets were off-line. This is the critical part of the setup. The magnets control the stopping points and precise positioning is critical. Once you get that right the rest is not hard. It is not a fast opener but think of what you are spending and how many times you open it daily. We open and close usually 3 or 4 times per day. We were going to spend $2,000 to someone come put one in. I decided to give this a shot and am glad I did since it does our job fine.
