Answer:	The wiring harness on the control to the battery is about 2 feet. This would be as far as you could place the battery from the control box. You can purchase a separate solar charger to connect to the gate opener, model FM123.
Question:	Why does my remote not open my gate for more than 20 feet away
Answer:	I had same issue, seems that little tiny antenna that comes with it is too small, I couldn't even get 20 feet. So, I added an extension cable and new antenna that is about 12 inches tall, I built a mounting bracket and added it to the top of the post where the control box is mounted. Now my remote works from inside my house (pointing out the window), which is about 300 feet from the gate. Don't put this near a window such that someone could see it from outside.

Answer:	Been around 6 months and it has gone off around 20 times and batteries are still a full charge. This is the loudest alarm I have for the price.

Answer:	The unit I have attaches via adhesive. Bottom Line: neither magnetic or adhesive makes any difference. You want the sensor to be as low on the ground as you can get it so it reads water at the first appearance. I used extreme tape over my sensor to force the unit to stay flat on the ground at the lowest point (my garage has a little dip in the cement floor). If you have magnetic and it causes the sensor to sit 1/8" off the ground, you will have a lot of water loss before the alarm goes off. An adhesive patch could also lift the sensor off the ground by 1/16" also.
Question:	Can the alarm be switched off once it goes off while you fix the problem
Answer:	Yes, the alarm has an off and on switch. You can remove it from the water, turn it off, and it will reset itself.

Answer:	Honestly, I have had this for a couple of years and have not had to replace a battery yet. I see that A23 12 volt batteries are common - about $4 for a 2-pack at Home Depot, Walmart, Target, etc. There are many options on Amazon of course also.

Answer:	This does not look watertight. Its the typical small screw secured case with unsealed button. It's also a bit larger than I expected ~1.25 x 2 x .6", and has a visor clip.

Answer:	Hi, this remote is only compatible with Mighty Mule gate openers. We would suggest that you check to see which gate opener your apartment complex is using to ensure it is a Mighty Mule. But someone from your apartment complex will likely have to assist in setting this remote up, the remote is programmed using dip switches that must match the remote.

Answer:	I find my remote works from farther away during the colder months. That’s not so much a remote issue as it is a receiver issue.
