Answer:	Yes, there is a stopper that screws in to the thermos. It ensures contents stay hot (or cold). Must have been left out of your order.

Answer:	The thermos is great keeps everything hot for about 14 hr, I have not used it for anything cold but after 14 hr my coffee was as hot as when I filled it

Answer:	I don't really understand the need. On a walk, I carry it on my wrist. If I put it in a hand bag, it doesn't spill. Not sure how it would get dirty. If it does, can be wiped off.

Answer:	I imagine they do, I have three small one and it has a strap. The larger one should too. It is the best water carrier ever.
