Answer:	For a 3M product, it actually didn't stick very well. But if it's on a painted surface, it may peel the paint when you remove it. I had to add clear tape to keep it in place on the trim if my door. You may try heating it with a blue dryer to protect your painted areas. As far as stopping the air, it works really well.
