Question:	Can this be used as a dummy door? We have double front doors and need one on each side but only one needs to be working
Answer:	Contrary to the regular handleset, the dummy handleset has no latch to be turned. Since your double doors do not latch together , I will suggest that get a complete set and a dummy set. The dummy set is way cheaper than the regular one.
Question:	Have preexisting holes in my door 7" apart. Will this handle adjust enough to fit
Answer:	I installed mine a couple months ago and can't remember the exact gap between 2 holes. I had to drill one for mine and followed the directions included. Came out perfect. Just remeasured and mine are 7'' apart. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, the handle pictured isn’t lockable per se as it’s just a handle with nowhere to insert a key. There may be a bathroom or interior door version that’s lockable but this one ain’t it I use it on a security screen door to open the door latch (with an elbow if your hands are full) the screen door itself is locked with a deadbolt.
