Answer:	Hello, The lock does not use a wifi signal (one of our favorite advertising points is that the lock functions even without internet). The lock has a data base of codes that work in various circumstances, when you pair your phone to the lock, the bluetooth key is used to encrypt the codes so that only your phone can generate working codes. When you need to generate a code you will use your phone to ask the app which codes work for the time you specify, the app will then provide you with a working code. It's a little hard to imagine but think of it like this: All the codes you will EVER generate have already been generated when you paired your lock to your phone. When you click the button to generate a new code, all you are really doing is asking your app, which code will work for what you need it to do. However, if you wanted to change the code from the one that is generated to a new one of your own custom length and digits, you will need to be within Bluetooth range of about 10 meters.

Answer:	Hello, as there seems to be confusion on this front I wanted to step in here. So the very first run of these was released a little over 6 months ago. The first batch has a known issue where the seals were not strong enough. Since then the Igloohome Smart Padlock has gone through 2 revisions with more to come. The water resistance issue has been solved in later versions. While of course you cannot submerge the product completely for an extended period, the unit is water resistant and will survive most weather conditions. If you have an older unit we are also able to provide a water proof silicon cover with proof of purchase. Different cable types (HDMI vs DP for example) have different maximum bandwidths, based on the display protocol and protocol version. Up to 60Hz (60 FPS) they are all pretty much interchangeable, but for example, older HDMI cannot do 144Hz - you need the newer standards to support that. The HDMI standard was limited to 60Hz (60 FPS) for a long time at decent resolutions. It's only the most recent versions of HDMI that will do both good resolution and decent refresh rate. Answer:	There is a adjustment screw on the armature plate, and you could adjust the holding force by this screws. Besides, the screw of armature plate should not be fixed too tight. Proper elasticity should be guraranteed for the rubber ring so that the armature plate can adjust itself to the appropriate position. Answer:	Looks like you already have the correct answer. Just be aware that the gate has to open "in" from the outside of the fence for you to install successfully.
Question:	If someone wanted to break in, would they be able to get in by just removing this lock from the fence
Answer:	To get to the screws that hold the actual lockbox on the fence you have to be able to open the lockbox in the first place. If someone can force the lockbox open they can open the fence door. With a 6 foot fence if anyone wanted to break into my backyard they hop over the fence itself, but I can say I have a higher feeling of safety after installing this. It is one of the best things I did to help secure my backyard. Nothing is 100% but this works as a great deterrent. And it makes it easy to get into the backyard without a physical key.

Answer:	Sorry, this is a bit geekish. I don't have directv, so am fumbling along. This is complicated by the fact that directv supports both infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF). IR is actually a red light (invisible to human eye) that needs to be pointed more or less directly at the directv box. One end of an IR remote will be black shiny plastic, which is really a window that the light comes out of. I'm guessing you have an IR remote, because the RF directv box would work even if it was hidden from the remote. So most likely, on the front of your directv box is a flat shiny black rectangle, which is the IR receiver. Or rather the shiny black rectangle is really a window, and the IR receiver is sitting behind the window. (You can't see through the window, but the IR light goes right through). The only way to *know* is to look at the owner's manual for your directv box, which if you are like anyone else, you lost a long time ago. But luckily if you can find the model number, you can find the manual on the web. You can probably even search for the model number and "IR" and it will pop up and tell you the device supports IR.****** Think of the Sunweb as a hose, with an input (receiver) and an output (emitter). The receiver is going to read the IR light coming from your remote, and then send the exact same signal out the emitter. So to your directv box, the IR signal will be exactly what comes from your remote. You find the IR window on the directv box, stick the Sunweb emitter to it (peel off sticky tape on emitter) and then put the Sunweb receiver wherever. Then when you use your remote, you will now point the remote at the Sunweb receiver. The Sunweb instructions are very clear on which little black knob is which.

Answer:	This is a simple repeater. It transfers the pulses from your remote to the device and has no intervening interpretation of the signal. It is designed to work with any device pair that uses infrared. If your remote has a radio component, this will not work for you.Also be aware that if you use a television or other device for usb power, that device may not be delivering power independently and require its own remote to turn on.
