Question:	can you set up different codes for different users? like for housekeepers? can these codes be set to be active only for certain times of the day
Answer:	How long the battery last depends on use. If you have a large family coming in and out then yes the battery won't last as long. However, the pros out weight the cons in my opinion. I especially like the way in works with Alexa. If you're already in bed and you forgot to lock the door. You say Alexa lock the door. Also, with my alarm when I put in the code it locks the door and also turns on the alarm. Let's say your running late and you need to let family or friends in. You can open the door using your phone. You can give kids, family members, housekeeper, etc. different codes for to access.
Question:	Anyone know of other z-wave controllers that work with this? I see this comment in the description area: *If you plan to use this product with Z-wave controllers, please contact that provider for compatibility
Answer:	This will work with Honeywell L5100 and L5200 alarms with Z-Wave. It will NOT work with the newer L7000 series panel. You will need the FE469 series lock - it has updated firmware. I am a fan of this lock for my system, no issues and battery life is great. HOWEVER - I have a L7000 in another location that refuses to work with it. - Use Kwikset for the L7000 series.
Question:	Has anyone used this with the Wink Hub? What features are available with Wink
Answer:	The wink hub was updated 03/16/2015 to support many more features of this lock. I do own both a wink hub and this lock. The wink hub/app records manual turning of the deadbolt in the activity report. It now also reports which codes were entered to unlock the door (code #1, code #2, etc.). You can also configure the lock's alarm/security settings from the wink app. This was a major update for the wink app and makes this lock a great purchase if you are considering going with the wink hub.
Question:	Anybody having problems with battery life on this thing? Some say it lasts 3 - 4 weeks w/ basic programming
Answer:	I've had mine installed and use through the Ring app since March 2020 and battery level still showing full. Please check to see the deadbolt itself is not mis-aligned and the deadbolt moves freely to lock/unlock. I have read that any resistance to the operation will greatly reduce battery life. 3-4 weeks is ridiculous and there is obviously a problem with the install or they have a defective lock set. The product description I believe says around 12months and will then warn you when the batteries are getting low. Mine is being used a minimum of (3) times a day since March of '20 and still shows full so, 12 months should be accurate. My lock came with Duracell batteries if I remember correctly. Cheaper batteries will obviously impact life of the device. In this case it pays to use "quality" batteries..

Answer:	The numbers will change by 1-2 points on the SPO2 after it stabilizes. This is normal because your O2 is changing all of the time. The key take away is that 95 and above is considered normal, if you have COPD your O2 needs to be at 90-93 or higher. If it is in the mid 80s, you could be headed for trouble.

Answer:	Ours drew ~7 amps on 12v... that was before the heating unit went out after 3-4mo of use.

Question:	Is there any reason to get a reversible rather than a dedicated LH or RH handleset
Answer:	A reversible one could be handy if you are buying ahead of time or are unsure whether or not LH or RH is needed. Take care.
Question:	Is the lock able to distinguish when you are coming or leaving based on if you unlock it manually vs with code or with inside vs outside handle
Answer:	It depends on your zwave controller. Controllers from Vera will give you different alerts if it is unlocked with a code or from inside. If a code it used, it will include the nickname you've associated with the code used in its alert. The VeraSecure gives that info in email alerts or from the web console, but not in sms alerts. Other controllers may or may not give that level of detail. You also need to program coded from the zwave controller instead of directly from the lock's keypad so nicknames can be associated with the various codes you set up.
Question:	can this be installed on 21/2" thick door and can be controlled by iphone
Answer:	For doors thicker than 1 3/4 you need a thick door kit obtained from Customer Service. If the user has a Z-wave controller in the home, then it can be controlled from an iPhone

Question:	I'm not sure what remote/online/phone features you can use with this without having to pay a subscription or buy some type of hub. any input
Answer:	The features I have worked with on this hardware includes connecting to a Vivint Home Security system for managing user lock access. You can have someone's pin code translated from the security system to the lock as both unlock and disarm code. I haven't tried connecting to a Wink hub or managing actual actions (lock/unlock) from outside of the lock.
Question:	Is auto-lock a feature of this deadbolt
Answer:	Once programmed it will auto lock in 30 secs, but it is not smart. It locks even if door is open.
Question:	Can you change it to a 6 or 8 digit passcode? I gave someone my iPhone and they guessed my 4 digit pin after 4 attempts
Answer:	Like another user said, If someone figured out your 4 digit passcode in 4 attempts then you either had very easy code like 1234 or they knew it already, there are 9,999 possible combinations of 4 digits, I guess someone could sit there and try every combo until they got it but probably unlikely so I would think you are safe with a 4 digit code but at least you have the option of going up to a 6 digit or an 8 digit code which have 1,000,000 and 100,000,000 possible combinations respectively. Question:	i am concerned about the exterior clearance to my storm door. i need the EXACT dimensions including depth of both the deadbolt and the handleset
Answer:	Yes you do. This deadbolt will not work on any exterior door with weather stripping. In closed resting position, the deadbolt has to be completely unobstructed for the battery operated bolt mechanism to close. I was unable to use this as I have to push my door closed a bit to engage a deadbolt.

Question:	How do I determine which one i need a LH or RH lock
Answer:	The documentation I received on this lock shows it can install either LH or RH. The instructions state that by rotating piece of the lock during install you can change this lock from RH to LH. The lock I received came as a LH lock. See previous comment.
