Answer: It would fit a 1.5"x3" opener in it on the bottom, not hanging. I could fit two of those openers side by side. It would probably fit even better without the metal clip on the back. Although it should fit still fit with the metal clip on the back.

Answer: I figured it out using a light and magnifier allowing me to see the arrow indicators were almost all turned ON. I rotated them all to OFF and slid the "Clear" button. The lock was unlocked. I started from beginning to set a code following the instructions again. Voila...It is performing as expected. Basically, check/reset all the buttons to OFF, Clear, no combo is set. Turn your number arrows to ON, Clear, combo is set.

Answer: Not exactly sure what a hifh wall camper is, or what size. Ours had an AC mounted on top, and end had V shaped ends of the box. It was an 8ft and this cover was tight.

Answer: Hey Tom, I imagine you could run the A/C, but I would not ever run the a/c unit while it's covered. The heat the a/c unit is dissipating through the coils would have no ventilation in which to cool. You would take a big chance of overheating or burning a/c unit up.

Answer: Don't buy it. It's not well made. Cheap stuff that rips quickly.

Answer: No. It has three pull under straps that lock and adjust. It has corner ears with brass eyelets for weighted tie downs. But I found the straps underneath are plenty. It is a summer breathable cover sheer walls, cotton top. We use all winter but put a tarp across top due to sun and snow. We have used 3 years. Well worth the low price.

Question: Is there an emergency override to the lock? My code no longer works
Answer: From what ive read, there is no way to unlock the box if you have forgotten you code. However, a little tid bit for you to possibly help you on your journey of oopening it again. A typical code of 1, 6, 2, 7, 3 is the same as say 5, 0, 4, 9, 3. Basically the code registers "sides" but provides numbers for you to better disguise the code. So if your code was 12675 then its really left side, left side, right side, right side, left side. So basically pressing 1 as your first number in reality you could press the 5 and it be the same. So as long as you press a number on the same side as what you thought you originally programmed it as then you may eventually get it back unlocked. Not exactly the answer you were looking for but atleast its something you can run with until you crack it.
Question: how to change code
Answer: You can change the code - This assumes you used your old code and got the lid separated from the box - pull of the white Kidde plastic plate off to reveal the set screws and corresponding button numbers - Get your magnifier glass out - look very closely at each screw to reveal the directional arrow - which is almost invisible to the naked eye. Stand the lid with the key holder up - (1 off 6) on the instructional plate. Then with a screw driver align all the arrows on the screw straight up. That means all the 10 screws are in the off position. Then press clear on the Front of the lid. Now write the numbers you want to use as your new code. (A birthday might help memory usage) Next with your screw driver, on the screw side of the lid, turn only the numbers you want to use in the on position down or in the opposite direction (0 on 5). Now press the clear on the other side of the lid. Time to test push the number pins in your new code and try the open button. You will see both the open and the clear buttons move and the lock moves inside the device to lock. Put your key(s) on the holder place the Kidde white screw cover back on and you are good to go. You must put the code in. Hold the OPEN button down on the lid until you position the lid on the box bottom first never releasing the open button until it is in the lock position. You cannot open the box without a working code.

Answer: Perhaps with a hammer and chisel On the side of the lid will pop it open.There is no way to reset the code nor is there an override code. You can always try to guess. At least it doesnt lock you out after so many wrong tries.

Answer: I'm a giant apple fanboy, but frankly, with home kit, Apple is a dollar short and a day late. This ain't the iPod. Showing up late with that was a stroke of genius. Not so with home kit. Answer: Hello, for most devices you DONOT need a hub/bridge/gateway. However for the Hue you do. I recommend that you send your Hue back, or return it and instead purchase the Lightify Osram RGBW bulbs, flex strips, garden lights, etc instead. The Osram lighting does not need a secondary device to control them, they can be controlled directly from Wink. Plus the really good news, they are much cheaper than Hue. P.S. I have over 130 devices connected to my Wink hub, of those 130 devices that include Schlage, Lutron, Z-Wave, Nest, Osram, GE Link, Leviton, and a bunch of generic devices, none need an additional hub/bridge/gateway.

Answer: First, it's 3 letters. It spins like a combination lock, so PIN is different than NIP. I got this over the number ones because unless you are changing the numbers all the time, the numbers you use will wear away and it will be easier to guess the numbers. We've been using this for years and love it.

Answer: Sure, you will need a masonry drill and masonry anchors for the screws, but it can be done if you have those. I would suggest that mounting it on a wood door frame is much easier though.

Answer: Hello. I think if it is not too thick. The part that holds the key also has the dial on it. The key is held with a clip. I usually don't unclip the key. I just keep it attached and unlock the door and then replace the whole thing into the box. There really isn't much room between the insert and the back of the box.

Answer: inside dimension measures 2-3/8" wide X 3-3/4" high X 2" deep; however, there is a stub at inside top, center that is about 1/2" wide, appears solidly formed during the same poured forging process, runs from inside front to back wall, and at its lowest point inside the box is about 5/8", so you would probably subtract that 5/8" from the overall measurement of the height (3-3/4), and as you are looking for 3-3/4 long, or high as I put it, would likely NOT fit unless your device is somewhat U-shaped on one of the long ends so that the interior latching stub would not interfere. If, however, your device is fairly solidly rectangular to the dimensions you listed, I'm afraid it would not fit. Answer: No battery required. The combination system is completely mechanical. Once you depress the correct buttons for the combination the knob that you turn to unlock the box is allowed to spin. You turn this knob manually. (Not sure if "knob" is the right description for the thing you turn but it's just a mechanism that you grab and twist to open the lock.)

Answer: They sell different versions with or without the weather cover. The cover is also sold separately. Read the description carefully to see which version you are buying.

Answer: Directly from the instructions - Opening and Closing your KeySafe: 1. Press down on the CLEAR button. 2. Enter the combination. If you enter an incorrect combination, press down on the CLEAR button to reset the buttons and reenter the combination. 3. Turn the OPEN handle clockwise 180° to open. When you turn the handle, the combination will clear. Note: The open handle is designed so it cannot be forced open. Answer: This is a very strong box that holds up to maybe 5 keys. Unit screws to a secure place like a heavy door or solid wall. It is like a miniature safe. To break it open would be difficult as it is strong. If mounted securely, hard to remove. I have bought 2, and use them for my elders. They work great. Recommend it. at night bring a flashlight or cell phone to light it up so you can unlock it. No Alarm on it. I don't know if any have a alarm. o attach to existing alarm.

Answer: I wouldn't recommend it and certainly wouldn't put on my car. It's quite heavy and it's also very rigidly straight so I can't visualize it fitting anyplace that's not completely straight.

Answer: Very easy, the black round circles on the back have an arrow, difficult to see, but just turn the arrow the opposite direction with a small screw driver, and that number now becomes one that must be pushed to open the box. Box can be opened in any order of numbers, ie. one of my address codes is 1103. but 1,0,&3 will open the box in any order. Hope that helped. ask again for more info. Dave V

Question: What material is it made of
Answer: Plastic, with interior foam, and a magnetic backing. Regardless, this is a horrible product and I've had to return two of them. The interior foam creates a small space for one key and, although it says it is removable, good luck trying to get it out. The combination spinners are impossible to use and the whole mechanism keeps freezing up (and I live in a hot, dry climate).
Question: Lock is stuck open. It will not re-close. Any suggestions
