Answer:	I think one has the August module included while the other has the connection but you have to buy it separately.
Question:	How far does the lock stick out on the front (outside) of the door? My storm door won't shut with some smart door locks due to thickness

Door thickness limit

Our Populife smart deadbolt compatible with:

1. The door that have a standard deadbolt mounted separately from the handle;

2. The door have a thickness of between 1-3/8” to 2-3/4”. Otherwise, it's impossible to install the lock.
