Answer:	You can store them long term. The only problem I've seen with dried products like these, is occasionally they can get contaminated with bugs. We usually go through a bag this size in 2-3 months, and have never had a problem We cook asian maybe once a week. I would say, if you're cooking less often than that, take out a few weeks supply, then store the balance in the freezer.

Answer:	You can store your bag in the original packaging in a cool, dry location for up to 4 months.
Question:	What is the actual full installed length (edge to edge) of 24" bar and 18" bars?? I have seen remarkably different numbers at different sites
Answer:	Mushrooms produce CO2, bags do not. I'm not aware of other bags that provide CO2 in this context. The mushrooms are what produce CO2. That being said, these are 1.5lb bags while most mushroom operations I know about use 5lb bags or more. That's much more mushroom mass (thus, more CO2 production). So the mushrooms from these 1.5lb bags will produce less aggregate CO2 than mushrooms from "other bags" of higher mass.
Question:	I see that the bar is separate from the ends of the bar. when its fully mounted, is it tight? or is it loose and slide from side to side a bit
Answer:	Yes I think so. I haven't tried because I use them in mushroom sauces, gravy, and casseroles. But I do bash them up a bit or snap them with my fingers for some dishes. But I do think you would need a tough smallish grinder. Worth it for that extra good taste though.
