1. Prepare Surface

Thoroughly clean surfaces and remove any coatings or residue. For tough build-up, Miracle Sealants Miracle Heavy Duty Cleaner Acid Substitute is recommended.

2. Apply Sealer to Dry Surface

In a well ventilated area, use either Miracle Sealant Mira Brush applicator or a clean, lint-free cloth to apply enough sealer to wet the surface. Allow to stand for 3-5 minutes for full penetration.

3. Wipe Excess and Buff

After no more than 5 minutes, remove excess liquid and buff surface with a lint-free cloth. Do not allow sealer to dry on the surface.

Allow to Cure

Allow to dry 3-5 hours, until dry to the touch, before light foot traffic. For best results, keep treated areas dry and free from staining agents for 72 hours.

The Granite Water Test

The water test is the simplest way to check if your granite needs to be sealed. Pour a small amount of water, about the size of a quarter, on different sections of your granite. Let the water sit for about 30 minutes and see if the granite absorbed the water into the stone.

If the water was absorbed by the granite, you need to reseal your granite. You can tell it was absorbed if your granite darkened.

If the water stays on top of your granite like the image to the right, your granite is protected. We still recommend applying the Granite Sealer at least once a month as a preventative measure.

Answer:	Thanks for your question Quicksand!Unlike Granite, Marble can be readily etched when it comes in contact with Acids. Tuff Duck is Neutral to Slightly Basic and will not etch Marble. The application instructions for Marble do not differ for Granite or Slate etc.. The difference will be the degree of porosity (or how porous) the stone is. A more porous stone will absorb more sealer than a non-porous stone. In general, marble is more porous than Granite. The directions for marble are as follows:1) Ensure a clean and dry surface, 2) Apply sealer liberally and allow to penetrate for 15 minutes (ensure the surface stays wet during this soaking period, more sealer may need to be applied during this time depending on the porosity of the stone) 3) After 15 minutes wipe up the residual sealer with a clean dry cloth.4) If any sealer was unintentionally allowed to dry on the surface leaving streaks, simply use Tuff Duck sealer on a cloth to re-wet/dissolve the streaks and dry with a cloth.The surface can come in contact with water after 6 hrs of cure time and will be fully cured in 24hrs.Thanks, I hope this helps.

Answer:	Hello Aleshia! Aspect tiles can withstand heat up to 140°F without causing any damage to the product. We recommend a minimum 6-inch space between the heat source or burner and the installed tiles. Aspect Peel & Stick Stone Tile are manufactured using a proprietary process. Layers of bonding resin and fiberglass are infused into real stone blocks. After the resin has cured, thin sections are fractured and peeled off. The composite thin stone sheet is then cut and applied to an adhesive base.

Installing Aspect Peel & Stick Stone tiles is a simple, exciting project that adds instant style to your kitchen or bath. Don't judge a book by it's cover! We recommend laying out all of the tiles to get a visual of the dramatic end result that you will get from this simple product. This step will also ensure the color and texture consistency are to your liking. Rearrange the tiles as you see fit before adhering them to the wall. The adhesive on the back side of the Aspect stone tiles is engineered to stick to flat, primed, smooth walls.

Aspect Peel & Stick Stone offers a simple, peel and stick installation that eliminates the need for mortar or grout, and no contractor is necessary. Cutting is simple! Use tin snips or a basic saw to make any necessary cuts. Then, just peel and stick!

Finishing Your Project

Aspect Stone Peel & Stick tiles are quite thin and edge treatment is generally not necessary. However, if you want to finish the exposed tile edge, we also have peel & stick trims for Aspect tiles as an option. Trims measure 24 inches and are available in multiple colors. Question:	How long do you have to let dry before use
Answer:	As long as possible but At least 4 hours.
Question:	Can this be used in reptile tanks? Im using sanded ground on a backboard for a gargole gecko and want to know if its safe for her to be on after it dr
Answer:	Great question. After it dries it will permanently bond to the surface and not leach into the tank. It is important to apply it, let it completely dry and “cure” for about 2 hours. Then wipe the surface with a wet rag Or rinse with water if possible to remove any residual sealer. It is unlikely to harm the gecko even when wet however, we don’t test it for safety on all animal types. We use the same technology for testing freshwater fish tanks to keep them clean so it has undergone difficult to pass safety tests for aquatic life. One Side benefit of the technology is that it will help reduce or eliminate odors.
Question:	Does this product use Rosemary
Answer:	No it does not contain any rosemary.
Question:	Does it permanently darken the grout
Answer:	Great question. No. It is designed to not change the color or look of the grout or tiles. I would suggest however, to test it in a small area to ensure you like the results.
Question:	I am grouting seashells into a design project. Can this be brushed over them while sealing the abstract lines
Answer:	This should seal any grout.

Answer:	This should last 1-3 years depending on traffic and the types of cleaners used to maintain it.

Answer:	I put some on my quartz countertop in an inconspicuous spot. No damage. Put it on grout between travertine back splash and quartz and I didn’t see any marks.

Answer:	I use it for our pool coping and do it every six months to be safe. Depending on where it is applied it may last longer than that.
Question:	Is the the best sealer to use on Carrara Marble that has not been sealed in awhile and has some yellowing
Answer:	This sealer is great on marble IF you want a glossy coat. I had to do small areas at a time to get a smooth surface, it takes a long time to dry hard enough to walk on. (12 hrs+)
