| Answer: | I mounted my strips onto the studs inside the walls. Those were 16" on center (found using a stud finder). But the kit includes drywall mounting sleeves so you are not constrained by where the studs are and so have more flexibility. I think the 43" is probably the maximum distance they recommend the strips be mounted so that the shelves will have adequate support and don't sag in the middle when heavy objects are placed in between the horizontal supports. | Answer: | Yes, you just need to make sure you have installed into a stud. If that is not optimal you could affix a piece of board to the wall (through two studs) and hang the rack anywhere on that board, this is what I did. |
| Question: | What absorbs the weight of the bike? Is it putting pressure on a bike spoke |
| Answer: | No the wheel asborbs the weight based on the angle of the hanger. I got mine last summer and I love it. Easy to hang the bike and in my opinion excellent engineering. Well worth the money. |
| Question: | Can this be anchored to concrete block |
| Answer: | Yes, using concrete screws anchors. You will need to drill into the wall using the appropriate drill and then put a contrete anchor into the hole to accept the screw. Not that complicated. |
| Question: | I ride 27.5+, would it fit with little or no finagling |
| Answer: | I have a 29” Marin. Works perfectly with it. I’ve even relocated to another room without issue. |
