Question:	I own an Innova 3300 that over estimates voltages, 9V PS reads 10.5, 12V reads 13.8, 3.7V battery reads 6.24 what can I be doing bad
Answer:	While as some people suggested, a 9V battery may read slightly higher, a 12V automotive may read closer to 14V than 12V, but a 3.7V battery should never read higher than 4.2V. Odds are your meter left the factory miscalibrated or not calibrated at all and some part in it is out of specification. If you are adept at tracing electronic circuits then you may be able to open the meter and determine the correct component to change to fix the miscalibration issue, but it would be more of an academic exercise than a good investment of time since you will still end up with a low end meter selling for $8.
Question:	What's the lowest ohm reading it is capable of
Answer:	It may have 3 digits but it can not accurately measure milli-ohms, nor can any other meter that is not using a 4 wire probe setup and one that costs at least several hundred dollars. There is so much involved in getting milli-ohm accuracy I could write for hours, for example just the pressure and angle of your probes, the proximity of the wires to themselves, other metal object, flex of the probes, the fitting of probes in the meter, and thats just 1/10th of probe issues, then take in account of the power supply related issues, pcb design issues a to d conversions and no way can a 18$ meter give accurate or even relative accurate milli-ohm readings. It is just a common marketing ploy.

Answer:	I would advise against it. This is only a CAT 2 rated meter. That means the internal safety features are not sufficient to handle the higher potential voltage and energy that could come about at a meter panel. http://www.ni.com/white-paper/5019/enYou really want a CAT 3 meter if you want to measure any live breaker panels.If you are going to test for bad circuit breakers that are disconnected from the live wiring then you could use this meter to check for continuity and the like. Do not use this meter on anything more powerful than a wall outlet. CAT 3 meters are available for not much more money.

Answer:	Yes, the Innova is great for finding parasitic leaks in boats and cars. Turn everything off..... EVERYTHING and then disconnect the negative battery cable. Insert the meter in series with the neg bat terminal and the end of the cable. If there is a current leak it will show on the meter when it is set on the AMPS function. Becareful that you don't turn anything on when the meter is connected because the AMP mode is not fused. If a current reading shows on the meter start pulling fuses and disconnecting devices until the reading drops to zero therefore isolating the problem

Answer:	There is not a setting for 3 cylinders, but the 6 cylinder setting would probably work, and you would double the rpms shown on the meter to get the motor rpms. I'm not sure about the dwell number though. I don't have a three cylinder engine to test

Question:	What year vehicle will this work on? i have a 2018 ford f-150 and a 95 chevy. will this work on both vehicles
Answer:	It will work on both vehicles. You're measuring voltages, amperages and electrical signals mainly.....it'll work on any vehicle basically. The RPM function is inductive and meant to clamp over a spark plug wire. Newer icoil on plug gnition systems don't have spark plug wires, your 18 Ford truck might have this.....but I don't think COP was around in 1995. Question:	Does the digital multimeter BT - 770 k not come with directions or an owner's manual or anything? How do you use the dwell function
Answer:	Leads, temp probe w/leads, instructions in near-English and a pouch. Dwell is duty cycle reading (0-100% "on time ") that is converted to degrees* of "on" angle when read against a 0-45*, 0-60* or 0-90* scale. Those correspond to 8, 6 and 4 cylinder engines. 50% duty cycle = 22.5*, 30* or 45* on those dwell scales. Measuring on a car is done between the non-powered negative wire of the coil (the side that gets switched on and off) and ground. Coil "on" time is usually given as dwell, but fuel injectors and solenoids specify duty cycle. Dwell and DC readings convert to each other but direct readings are more convenient.

Question:	Is it really worth buying if you already have a Multimeter
Answer:	Probably not if you intend to use it only as a multimeter. I use it not only as a multimeter but for the occasional (and becoming less and less frequent) automotive testing of dwell angle for points-type ignitions on older cars, and to measure engine rpm (both required when tuning up older engines) (I actually did use it just yesterday for both of those test functions when trouble-shooting a friend's 1965 Chevelle). In addition, I like the audible diode/continuity test feature that beeps at zero resistance when I can't actually look at the meter when doing continuity tests.
