Answer:	Actual answer I do not know as I haven't tried anything that minimal, BUT there is a thumbwheel adjustment on the left side of it which enables you to adjust to the lighting you are using so that the lowest setting has a dim light without flickering. You turn the thumbwheel to adjust before installing the wallplate over it.

Answer:	I am using it with dimmable LEDs in one of our conference rooms. It works great.

Answer:	There is a small green light that illuminates when the switch if off. It does not give off any light other than to provide an indicator of where the switch is.

Answer:	I am currently using this with an led canned light that only 13 watts. Dimmer works fine with no issues. Make sure though the bulb is dimable first. This unit dims well and I would recommend it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	This can be triggered/armed from any other Insteon device (Sensors and switches) however for best results you would want to use an Insteon Hub (2245-222) along side the devices to configure units.

Answer:	The siren module features two types of audible alerts and you can select the alert during the scene creation or linking process. The chime alert is two short beeps and the siren is a loud ringing that will persist for two minutes or until the siren is disarmed. For a "home mode" and "away mode", you can arm and disarm the siren module but you cannot adjust the type of alert that a device triggers without editing the scene.

Answer:	Yes, the open/close sensor is compatible with other hub devices besides the Insteon Hub (INSTEON 2242-222 Hub). Whatever hub/controller device you choose still has to be compatible with the Insteon protocol, as the sensor only knows how to talk "Insteon", not Z-Wave or WiFi. Examples of other home automation hubs/controllers are the ISY994i and the Mi Casa Verde VeraLite. The Smarthings Hub is NOT compatible with this, as it only works with WiFi, Zigbee, and Z-Wave devices.

Answer:	No, this unit would require use of an Instoen Hub. It is not compatible with NVR systems.
Question:	If I use an INSTEON "2413S" to connect to an INSTEON "ISY-994i" controller, can the 2413S detect and pass on to the controller X10 wireless RF signals? Can the 2413S send X10 wireless RF commands
Answer:	The INSTEON Hidden Door Sensor uses INSTEON over RF only and will not work with SmartThings which is Zigbey and Z-Wave only. The Revolv hub supports Zigbey, Z-Wave, INSTEON and a few other standards. My installation is currently INSTEON & some legacy X10 only. I have been very pleased with the performance of the INSTEON products. .
Question:	What is the hardware version for the device I will receive? The version number is displayed on the plug side of the device
Answer:	It comes with a Lithium battery installed and is supposed to be good for 10 years. We just purchased within the last 6 months so don't have any long term results. I do know that most smoke alarms are employing the same battery with a 10 year life span.

Answer:	This is an older kit that has been discontinued for some time. The hub that comes in this kit is 2242-222 which does not support Amazon Alexa, automatic remote access, and other third party integrations (Logitech, Stringify, etc). We recommend buying the Insteon Starter Kit (2244-234) or Insteon Hub by itself (2245-222) and building your system from there.

Answer:	It is work within my house network but not over the Internet, don't why.

Answer:	I do not believe so, however, you are really not missing much. The Insteon interface for cameras could use some work so you will probably want to use something else to view/control them. The Insteon cameras are actually older version Foscams. I have been able to get my old and new Foscams to work with the Insteon hub, but the interface only gives you the pan/tilt functions. I don't know about your DLinks, but for the Foscam there is a laundry list of features that are not supported (most important to me is the ability to turn alerts on/off.)

Answer:	Will an INSTEON PowerLinc (PLM part #2413S) receive X10 RF signals? No. But, X10 (dual-band) RF/power-line receiver/transmitter units (like CM15A, PAT01, and TM751) would receive signals transmitted by the X10 RF transmitter/receivers which would be then be received and retransmitted (without repeats) by a 2413S. Will an INSTEON PowerLinc (PLM part #2413S) receive and send X10 power-line signals? Yes. Basic X10 messages, but not X10 Extended messages. The PLM sends the received X10 power line data to the controller connected to it for processing. The controller connected to it can also have it send X10 power line signals to X10 devices in your home. If using an ISY-994i controller, the ISY-994i sends and receives X10 power line commands with no problems.An EZX10RF can also be used to receive X10 RF signals from up to 200 feet away and it will rebroadcast the signals on your power lines. It decodes all 256 X10 house/unit signals, any of which can be filtered out if you desire. X10 RF codes can be transmitted as X10 powerline commands or the internal translator can convert the signal to INSTEON commands.

Answer:	You would need to keep the light switch controlling the outlet on at all times for the Insteon On/Off Module to work correctly. If the switch is turned off and that turns off power to the outlet, the Insteon device will not have the power it needs to function.

If you already own an Insteon Hub (2245-222) and want to add garage door control, this kit gets you everything you need to get you controlling the garage door from your smartphone. This kit includes an Insteon I/O Linc (2450), magnetic contacts to detect whether the door is open or closed, and plenty of wires for interfacing the IOLinc to your garage door opener. In addition, this kit allows control and status from Insteon Keypads (such as model 2334-232). **IMPORTANT** this kit is compatible with traditional 2-wire garage door openers that DO NOT have a panel display. Also, the I/O Linc communicates via powerline only, which may require additional Insteon devices or Insteon repeaters for smaller systems.
