Answer:	Yes I used it for that for a friend. The way I found it is take a peice of electrical wire like your hunting for and see how it's pinging on your detector. Then when you get a hit mark it then go about it a foot or two away and go in a circle around it. If you get another hit that is straight from the marked spot go another foot in the same direction and see if you hit again. If not go on your other side just in case it's the other direction and do the same thing

Answer:	Best to use Duracell (4) AA batteries. They should last 20-24 hours if new. Keep recirculating them as they loose power within the unit for max. use. I always keep an extra set in my carrying case for back-up and change after the ones in my unit are about 1/2 life left. You can use rechargeable but they won't last as long and you need to charge them up before you go out for max. efficiency. Happy Hunting!!!

Answer:	Yes. It's in the description of the product
Question:	Is this good for saltwater, seeing a lot of waterproof but then say not for saltwater
Answer:	The coil is waterproof and you can use in a foot or so of water but saltwater and salty wet sand will give you continuous pings and chirps due to mineralization.
Question:	Can it be use in fresh and salt water? cause it does say waterproof? What is yhe depth search?!? Thank you
Answer:	Its only waterproof up to the electronics. I don't see why it would matter if it is used in salt or fresh water.
Question:	Can the carry bag it comes with fit a trowel and sifter tool set
Answer:	I guess it all depends on how large the extra equipment is! I assume it will as it has plenty of room for the detector and smaller pocket on the side.

Question:	hello which is the maximum penetration in dry ground
Answer:	Yes, as long as you consider the conveyor system metal below the item you are scanning. If you get too close to the floor while scanning people you can pick up re bar in the floor for a false reading.
Question:	how long do batteries last? can you use rechargeable energizer batteries? AA or AAA batteries
Answer:	no clue. Don't think its designed for that but you could call Garrett and ask. We use it for to find nails & screws in wood.
