Answer:	You CAN use this for a space heater if you're careful. If you do it wrong, you could start a fire as someone else stated. Regarding safety, if you're looking at the amazon ad for the 26892 model, the electrical limits are listed as 125V 50/60 Hz, 15A 1875W General Purpose/Resistive, 10A 1250W Tungsten, 1/2HP. The main thing is to make sure you don't exceed the amps and watts limits for the total load. Note, when you see tungsten, think conventional incandescent or halogen lights. Note that the limits for those are lower. All parts of the chain of devices from the outlet through the timer and any extensions must be able to support the maximum load you'll draw. So, if the outlet, and the timer, and the extension (if any) can safely provide enough power to the space heater, then it can work. The heater would probably have to be the only thing on the breaker that serves the outlet, and the only thing on the timer, and must draw less than the 1875W stated above.

Answer:	You will have to wait until next day for it to turn on. It does not apply the setting until the time passes it. It is a stupid implementation.

Answer:	The way you worded your question, the answer is yes. You can use multiple features at once. There are three preset time intervals you can use, morning, evening, and all night. There is a 4th custom on and off time you can set. So, if you activate morning, evening, and custom, you could have 3 separate intervals where the load runs every day. Activating morning, evening, and all night will give a slightly different time period than just all night. If you activate countdown, you could have a 4th interval which would run once. So, if the preset time intervals work for you, you can have 2 preset intervals and one custom interval all running every day. But you cannot have multiple automatic custom intervals.

Answer:	The short answer is yes. 1. You set your time.2. choose your programmed time (they have 3 preset times)3. You can press the countdown then choose any time from 1 minute to 24 hours, hit the countdown, and it will go off automatically after the amount of time you chose for the countdown.4. you also can choose the manual override to turn it on or off manually at anytime.The only thing I do not like about this unit is you can not choose your own times for it to go on and off. You have to use one of their 3 preset times. You can use the countdown feature for any amount of time you want, (1 minute- 24 hours), but you would have to re-set the amount of time you want it to count down, each time you use it. Press the "my on time" button, then use the arrows to set the on time. Once you reach desired "my on time," press the "my on time" button again or press the "my off time" button to begin setting the off time.

Question:	How many Watts does the unit itself consume
Answer:	According to the technical details on the product description page , this timer consumes a fairly high 1725 watts. However, when I checked a number of comparable digital timers, I found similarly high levels of wattage ranging from 1000w to 1850w. I find this very surprising since these timers have an LCD display and no motor like their mechanical counterparts. By way of comparison, my mechanical timers consume 1750w.
Question:	can this be used to turn off my router every three days ? sometimes it needs to be reset when I am out of town. It would need to be off for 1 minute
Answer:	Yes, you can set the time to turn off for 1 minute then turn on. For example, you can set it turn off on 4:00am wed, then turn on 4:01am wed.

Answer:	Plug the timer into the top one, it is fine, you can still use the lower outlet.

Answer:	I think the 1875 watts is how many watts it can support. We used it for a space heater, which was around 1500 watts, so it should work for almost any device, but it wouldn't support two space heaters, for example.

Answer:	You can set this timer to only provide power during your daylight hours (say, 6am-10pm). The timer will therefore not provide power at night, keeping your tv off.

Answer:	It’s not silent; the mechanism makes a little sound — not a clock-like ticking — every few seconds as the clock slowly advances. I use mine primarily to switch lights in my home office when I am in another part of the house or away from home. So noise is not a problem. When I’m in my office and it’s running, I have never found it distracting. Of course, another person may not agree.

Answer:	Do you mean you set it once for that and it does it everyday? The answer is yes. Do you mean can you just set it for one day? You would have to change the setting after that one day because once you put in a setting (and whatever is plugged into that side) it keeps doing those times everyday. It's very easy to set!
Question:	Can you safely use an additional extension cord with this surge protector
Answer:	While you CAN daisy-chain extension cords, it's not a good idea. the longer the cord is, the more resistance there is. This creates heat in the wires, and power loss over distance. As resistance goes up, heat goes up, and power drain grows larger. Eventually you end up with a fire hazard, not to mention excess cost for energy used, as well as power loss at the terminus. Having said all that, it really depends on the length of the cords and the amount of power draw you're using. If you're using just a few outlets on one strip and attach another fairly short (like less than 8', for example) extension cord for greater reach, you should be fine.

Answer:	No. 4 outlets work on a timer, the other 4 are live all the time. You can put a secondary timer in the always live outlet to run your light as a solution

Answer:	The timer just switches power to the lamp, so the three way bulb will run at whatever wattage the switch on the lamp is set to.

Answer:	As many as you want. Every half hour has a tab. You put the tab up for "on" and down for "off", if you wanted to, you could have the lights go on and off every half hour all day long. I set the Christmas lights to go on in the morning while I am getting ready, then go off, then come on again at supper time, and off at midnight. I have tried just about every type of timer out there, and this one is the simplest by far, and my favorite. I probably have 15 of them turning lights on and off throughout the house. My 10 year old can set it no problem.

Answer:	It was fairly simple for me to setup. It took about 7-10 minutes to set it up. I used the google assistant so the following steps may vary if you use alexa. 1. Plug in the smart plug. 2. Press and hold the power button until the button flashes blue about twice every second. (Rapid Flashing) 3. Next, download the Smart Life app and create an account. (Make sure you sign up via email and not via google or apple. It will ask for a password during the linking process.) 4. Once an account is setup, add a new device. Select the one that says (Smart Outlet - Wifi). 5. Follow the next few prompts and it should set the plug up via Smart Life. 6. Answer:	The Fosmon timer 24 hour timer has two male prongs that attaches the timer to your wall outlet. If your lamp will plug into that wall outlet it should plug the timer outlet. If there is a problem with the timer outlet, you could use the second timer to check the outlet of the first timer to see if that outlet might be damaged. When doing this be sure the timer is “NOT PLUGED” into to the wall outlet.
Question:	Does this timer accept appliances with a ground plug? I cannot find a single photo of where it plugs in
Answer:	Both the female (to the appliance) and male (to the wall) plugs are two-prong polarized connectors. There is not a third, ground prong on either connection.
Question:	Is there a 12 hour (twice daily) cycle? I need plant lights on and off morning and evening
Answer:	you can have 12 hr or 24 hour so if you put the clock on a 12 hr cycle you should be able to have 2 on off cycles in a 24 hr period. Just not able to have more than one on off in a 12 hr period.

Answer:	Yes. Crockpots are a resistive load. This item is rated 15A resistive. All the crockpots I've seen are much less wattage; much less than even 500W.

Answer:	Options are defined, On all the time, Off all the time, Dusk-to-Dawn, 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours after photo eye detects it is dark enough to turn on. Turns off after preset number of hours. You cannot set it for something like 45 minutes.

Answer:	Yes it definitely can! These timers are great because you can choose whatever day or days of the week you want your product to turn on or off. So in your case, you could set the timer it to turn on say on Monday morning at 6 am and not turn off again until Thursday morning at 6 am. Or you can choose to have it turn on your products every day, every other day, or on and off multiple times in one day. They are very easy to program which is great because the first timers I bought were not easy to program and I just got rid of them because these are fantastic!
Question:	Are these quiet after they have been used for a long time? My mechanical ones start making loud noises after several months--very annoying
Answer:	My Century 7 timers are brand new. I have not experienced any loud noises coming out of them. Although they are on the larger side, they are wonderful, easy to program and reliable so far. I gave them as gifts and set them up for someone that I know. They work well for my friend.

Answer:	As you cycle through pushing the on/auto/off button there will be two "autos" indicated. Only one of these will do the program. The other may cause operation at odd times.

Answer:	Never use any product that is not in the range of that which is stated on the product. You risk a fire and possibly an explosion. There are timers available for 220v. Contact Century with your dilemma.
