Question:	Do these work with Cree Zigbee Smart bulbs
Answer:	Unfortunately based on the information provided it is difficult to be sure we are offering a completely accurate response. The GE 45853GE is itself a Zigbee device that will turn a lamp or small appliance on and off when being controlled by a Zigbee controller/hub like SmartThings or Wink. You would not want to use this to control a Zigbee bulb because it will disconnect power to it and the bulb then could not be controlled remotely. From the literature we can find online regarding the Cree bulb, the GE 45853GE and the Cree bulbs are both compatible with SmartThings and Wink and can both be added to a system and be controlled together by the hub.
Question:	Can it be directly controlled by Harmony Hub? Or we need another hub to communicate with harmony
Answer:	The Harmony Hub itself does not contain a Zigbee or Z-Wave radio for direct control of Zigbee and Z-Wave devices. The Harmony Hub has an accessory product "Harmony Home Hub Extender" that would need to be purchased along with the hub and will connect directly under the Harmony Hub to give it direct control of our Zigbee devices and others.

Answer:	Zigbee devices do not connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to communicate directly with a phone. You can always use it manually with the push button on the front, however if you want to use it remotely with a phone, voice, or to automate it in anyway, you will need a hub. This is true of all Zigbee and Z-Wave devices. The Echo Plus does have a built in Zigbee hub to communicate directly with this and other Zigbee lighting devices, but that is only because the hub is built into the Echo Plus to allow it to communicate with Zigbee lighting devices.

Answer:	Sort of. For the price, as a DIY part, this is the best z-wave outdoor switch I found. If you plug this switch into an "in-service" outdoor receptacle, and you fully close that receptacle cover over the switch cable, and the GE z-wave switch receptacle is facing downward, and the location is away from water spray, as from a lawn sprinkler, then the conditions are safely within the IP rating of the GE switch. IP 44 is suitable for an occasional splash of water. IP 65 is ok for a spray or jet of water.
Question:	will this work with a 1500 watt space heater
Answer:	The back of this product lists the electrical rating for various load types: 600W incandescent, 1/2 HP motor, or 1800W resistive. Therefore, the answer to your question is yes, this can switch your space heater on and off. However, Jasco's response is a good one to keep in mind - don't use this if there is a risk of causing harm. If your space heater can automatically shut off if it detects a problem, like the curtains next to it have caught fire, then go ahead. I would otherwise suggest some form of failsafe (like a mechanical timer to turn off the space heater after 30 minutes), or not using a smart switch.

Answer:	The manufacturer states that it is not to be used with things like heaters, stoves/ovens, other appliances that heat. This GE timer is rated: 15 amp, 1000 Watts, 1/3 hp. That said I would definitely not trust it with a heater especially if it's 500 watts more than the fiber can handle.

Answer:	Mine sits outside, completely exposed to all sorts of Chicago weather from rain to snow to sleet and hail. No problems to date.

Answer:	The cord is about 17” long, the box is about 3 1/2 x 3 1/2”. It has worked well all season, turning on at 3:00/off at 10:00 PM, then on again at 5:00/off at 9:00 AM every day as set up.

Answer:	I don't think so. The reason I bought this one is that I have an older model in which the battery died and it wouldn't recharge. By the way, this one failed before I even got to use it. The reset button broke when I pushed on it.

Answer:	We disconnected the plumbing on the inlet and outlet of the heater for the winter, so we don't have any issue with fit there. It does stick up slightly though on the electrical inlet but overall the cover provides ample room to allow for this. Additionally, the cover provides additional length to allow you to tuck under the heater as well.

Answer:	All GE Z-Wave and Zigbee lighting controls can be controlled by Google Home when connected to a Google Assistant certified hub such as SmartThings or Wink.

Answer:	Zigbee devices like this require a Zigbee compatible hub like SmartThings or Wink. You will then use the hubs app to setup and use the device with the hub. Since Zigbee devices are not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi you cannot download an app by itself.
Question:	Is the built in smart hub compatible with smart switches without some sort of third device? and can you control the lights with some sort of app
Answer:	The Echo Plus, Echo Show 10.1, and Echo Studio all have built in Zigbee hubs. They can control this and all of the GE Zigbee lighting controls with the Alexa app. Because those devices have a built in Zigbee hub, you do not need a separate hub from a 3rd party.
