Outdoor Led Strip Lights

I like that it's waterproof, I put in in my front of house and once I plugged it into the power, I got 3 different colors(red, blue and green) with different patterns. Answer:	The kit contains two strands of 16 ft each that no longer connect together but can now only each connect directly into the transformer. They've changed the product in late 2019 to longer connect into one 32 ft strand. You now have the added expense/trouble to track down generic electronic connectors if you still want one 32 ft stands

Warming tips:

• Please clean the surface before stick on the strip and make sure that the paste is successful by one time, otherwise, the stickiness will become weak after repeated use, and you need to add back glue again
• Please don't stick the lights to the metal surface that conductive, it may cause a short-circuit on the strip lights
• Don't let them on the spool when you testing them for more than 2 minutes, they need to dissipating heat
• The ventilation must be ensured, these lights need an excessive amount of airflow for cooling

Connection tips

Please notice to connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights; If not, it will don't work.

Test the lights before installation

Please confirm your connection is correct, below is some steps need to notice:

• Connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights.
• Make sure the lights are connected, and the power light up green bulb.
• Pull out the transparent chip from the button of the IR remote.
• Use the IR remote turn on the lights (IR remote aim at the IR receiver).

DIY function

About DIY function, Please follow the steps below：

Step 1: Turn on the lights. Press one of the RGB buttons. Step 2: Press the DIY1 button (the lights will change to white color for the first time). Step 3: If you need deeper red color, press and hold the red up button(at least 5 seconds), the longer you hold, the deeper red color you have. You can also press green and blue down, the changing will be more clearly. Step 4: Keep the color you just set by pressing the DIY1 button again. Step 5: Repeat the steps above to set the rest of five DIYs.

Answer:	The driver has 2 leads and 2 strips. Connect each to its own feed and run in opposite directions. Do not Daisy chain the strips. If you do, you will burn up the driver.

Answer:	The only thing I could suggest to avoid damage would to not use the adhesive on them, as it’s very strong. Maybe try hanging them with Velcro or something that would damage, or have less damage.

Answer:	Yes you can! I was able to connect all 4 strips together to create one long strip. All of the colors and functions will work IF the connections between the strips are good. If the colors don’t match after one of the joints it means one of the R G B connections is bad (I had this problem with one of mine and had to go back and fix it). One side effect of connecting all 4 together is that the brightness of the LEDs at the end of the 4th strip are not as bright as the ones in the 1st strip.

Answer:	Thomas, I have a standard 3 car garage and 3 lights work very well. Only because of the high ceiling would I think you would need more then 6 lights.
Question:	Whats the square foot coverage for 1 fixture please
Answer:	i can't give you square feet, but i have one in my oversized 2 car garage and it lights it well I another one in my 1.5 car garage and it lights everything. the lights are adjustable to get the greatest coverage

Answer:	I agree 2 would be ideal. They are adjustable as well and if you don’t have a light outlet they provide them for you. However they are cheap plastic. I would recommend getting better quality light outlets for longevity.

Answer:	The white thing is a socket to screw the light into. I don't see how this could actually be used though. I threw mine in the garbage.

Answer:	The plastic piece you gotta remove from the remote by the battery so it'll work. It's a plastic strip and make sure you point the remote at the receiver and you'll be good to go.

I have had this problem so many times and I actually still have these LEDs but my remote has been lost for five months now and I have a TV remote and it changes them so that’s why I’m able to control it still. Question:	Can this be added on to a the other led strip these people sell which has a controller operated by iphone/android? i'd think this would work the same
Answer:	Don't extend LED light strips. Even if you buy a separate power supply, the wiring in the strip is not large enough to carry the current of more lights. As you can see, there are dozens of companies selling the same thing so these are a race to the lowest possible cost, which means the lowest possible additional current capacity. Reputable sellers will clearly state this in their question replies or their listing. If these sellers could make 150 foot LED strips, they would.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend using them outside, as any dampness could short them out. They are for interior use only.

Question:	If I cut this in the corner how I will connect the strip
Answer:	The hue hub directly controls the bulbs (one hue hub can control 50? bulbs). Alexa can install a “skill” (an app/program) that communicates with the hue hub. The end result: You say “alexa turn on bedroom light", Alexa passes the request to the hue hub, hub turns the light on, Alexa gets a reply that the request was fulfilled and lights are on. You can control the hue hub directly with an app, or you can use an apple or google smart device to do the same thing that alexa does.
Question:	is there a mode to cycle through all the colors constantly
Answer:	I have an Echo dot gen 3 and purchased these bulbs last month. Got them connected easily and they worked for 3 weeks and now Alexa cannot discover them. I tried to leave a review on my purchase, but the message says they’ve noticed unusual reviews on this product so they won’t let me leave one. Guess everyone is having the same issue.
Question:	I lost the instructions how do I sync them to my phone
Answer:	Just got these for Prime Day deal. You need a hub to take full advantage of voice control (Alexa/Google). Otherwise, you need to set them up via Bluetooth for Alexa which means the Echo device needs to be within 30 feet of the lights. Even my Echo Dot 4 feet away from the lights, the operation of the bulbs is hit and miss. Worked bout 85% of the time. The rest of the time the Echo said it couldn't communicate with the lights. You can also use the Philips Hue (Bluetooth) app. For the price, I really was not impressed with the functionality of them. Also purchased some LOHAS Smart LED bulbs (got 3 bulbs for the price of these 2) and those work great. The LOHAS are both Bluetooth and Wifi, with no hub needed at all. Cant really recommend the Philips as I don't want to purchase a hub. Will most likely return these as the LOHAS bulbs work way better.
Question:	How do you sync two 32ft light Strips
Answer:	I have one that came with my Echo Show 10, it paired with the Echo Show and the other Echos can control it no issue. But you have to have an Echo with Zigbee function - that means the older Echo Plus, or the new 4th gen Echo or an Echo Show 10. If not, you'll need to use Hue's hub and use the Hue skill to link to your Alexa network. Of the choices, I recommend the show, because it gives you visuals when installing. however most my smart devices are wifi using the Smart Life app and intergrate using that skill.
