Answer:	Unless your TV is one of those super thin oleds or under 27 pounds, this is doubtful. Fireplace? Keep in mind the clamp is max bite width of 2.4 inches. The bolt mount included only goes up to roughly 80-85mm (Taking mounting space into the math) You might be looking more ideally at the Ergotron MX arm with wall mounting if you still want the full range of motion like this one. Otherwise I'd suggest looking at their other arm types :) Hope this helps.
Question:	How sensitive are these? Can it pick up small motions like those from eating dinner at a table
Answer:	I have a 27" monitor attached to the swing arm. Don't know what it weighs. But that's not the problem. The problem is how you are securing the arm. Make sure it is a very robust connection. And the mounting pattern should be the same. They are called VESA mounts. Look on the back of the monitor. Not all monitors have them.
Question:	Will the motion sensor work with Wink Hub
Answer:	Most definitely! I use a Cintiq for work and it holds up perfectly. A lot of maneuverability which is a plus as I have an electronic adjustable desk that I use for standing and sitting at. My suggestion would be to find a position that’s right for you and lock it there as I have found if there isn’t enough tension then I tend to lose my comfortable position. Hope that helps.
Question:	Is occupancy just motion on a very long delay? I have this connected to Home Assistant, and that's kinda what it seems like
Answer:	Narrower than standard joist opening. I had to rip a few pieces to screw it in my basement.

Can the Aqara Motion Sensor be connected to the mobile phone directly?

The Aqara Motion Sensor cannot be connected to the mobile phone directly.

An Aqara Hub is required, please connect the Aqara Hub with the mobile phone, and then connect the Aqara Motion Sensor to the hub.

What if I could not connect the Aqara Motion Sensor to the app?

1. Check to see if the hub's firmware version is up to date.

2. Check if the hub is already in the pairing mode.

3. Check if the sensor is reset successfully, and the LED indicator is blinking as expected.

4. Keep the sensor as close as possible to the hub and keep trying.

5. Try with another child device to see if there is something wrong with the sensor itself.

6. Try with another hub and see if there is something wrong with the previous hub.

7. Please be aware that we can add no more than 32 child devices to a hub at the same time.

Answer:	motion sensor that can be paired with an alarm using a smart hub ( samsung smart things) -- the hub can then send you a text if it is tripped.

Answer:	Echo Plus uses a Zigbee radio for communication and at this time does not support sensors. Any Z-Wave items like this GE 34193 will require a hub like SmartThings, Wink, Iris, or others to operate.
Question:	Can it be paired with Smart life app
Answer:	Z-Wave devices are not Wi-Fi Enabled. They cannot connect to Wi-Fi or the internet by themselves. All Z-Wave devices require a hub such as SmartThings, Wink, Iris, or others, and they have their own app that would control operate the Z-Wave device.
Question:	Will this motion sensor work through glass to detect motion outside
Answer:	Unfortunately, this cannot be used for this purpose. In order for the PIR (Passive Infrared) Sensor to detect motion it registers temperature in its detection zone. This is blocked by a window, as it cannot detect on the other side of the glass.

Question:	Is this device stand alone no need of a hub? does the app work on iphone
Answer:	This will interface with whatever program you use to connect devices, I use “smart life”. From there the divorce is shared with Alexa (which is controlled by my iPhone). In terms of hardware, really you just need a router to get the signal to you. No need for special hub, above anything you already have... obviously if you have smart lights etc, they already connect through something to be turned on by your phone. Hope this helps
Question:	Does it have an option to automate when no motion is detected
Answer:	Yes, I use Alexa App. And it allowed me to have interaction if no motion was detected. The setting allows me to set the amount of time in which (IF) there is no motion detection it will shut off or turn on WiFi enabled devices through the Alexa app.

Answer:	I’m sure it can, I use smart life to get it registered, then Alexa for me, but google will do the same

Answer:	Currently Smart Motion Sensor is not compatible with IFTTT, only used with Google Assistant, TUYA APP and Amazon alexa .

Answer:	It is NOT halogen. It is Fluorescent.

Answer:	You need the hub for lights
Question:	Can this sensor sense no movement and turn lights off
Answer:	I don't see that option in the Ring app. However, you can create a routine in the Alexa app, "When [motion detector name] detects no motion for [select how long]" and then add the action to choose which lights to turn off. The "detects no motion" has settings for hours|minutes|seconds, and the "turn off" option has settings for 30 seconds, 1, 3, and 5 minutes. I haven't used those options, so I don't know how well it works. The detector will turn the lights back on, of course, if it thinks it detects motion, so the settings for how long to wait before turning them off should take that into consideration.

Question:	will this stand alone motion sensor work with the new 5- piece ring security systems
Answer:	Despite the advertising of this product stating that it's a "Smarter way to connect your home security" it doesn't work with the ring security system. It appears the "Ring Smart Bridge" also isn't smart enough to work with the Security system which requires its own separate "base". In short, Ring has a confusing morass of products with interoperability problems among their own products.
