Answer:	The indoor hub siren is 110 dB, which would bother an intruder that was in the same room or hallway as the hub. But the sound wouldn't be readily heard outside the house. So I added the SkylinkNet wireless outdoor alarm (part no. SA-001S) which also blasts at 110 dB to alert the neighbors.

Question:	Does the hub need to be by main door
Answer:	Using the smart life app, you can schedule countdown timers & time and days of the week. The wifi plug does’t detect light of dusk or dawn. These are times that you would coordinate.

Answer:	I have a door sensor in my storage in my backyard, that's about 60-70ft, and that works without any problem. I get instant notification on my phone when that door is open.
Question:	Does this system work with the old sc-100 door and window sensors
Answer:	Yes! But not through the SkyLinkNet app. You must first set up the SkyLinkNet security system. Then you must install the IFTTT (If This Then That) app. This app allows you to set an event to trigger another event. I was able to use it to set my security system to auto-arm itself at a certain time at night and then disarm itself again in the morning. This way you won't forget to arm it before going to bed and forget to disarm it before the first person leaves in the morning. I was also able to use IFTTT to turn my kitchen lights (which are connected to a smart WeMo lightswitch) to come on if the security system is triggered at night. It's a fairly self explanatory process but you will need to download the IFTTT app and create an account with them. It's free though. They are a trusted company and have been around for a long time and their app is used frequently in the home automation community. Good luck!
Question:	how far does the interior motion sensor reach
Answer:	SkylinkNet HUB HU-100 no power, not going online. It happened to me as well. The LED would be always blinking red. Not going online, of course. The reset procedure would not help. In the end, rhe problem was the power adapter. These things are prone to failure quite often. I changed it with a universal 300mA AC/DC power adapter, selected 6V output and everything is all good now. Customer service was very responsive, they sent me the same resetting procedure, but I had to figure the issue on my own. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Rhe range of the motion sensor to the hub is 500 feet in open space. The sensor can detect up to 10 feet in every direction (this is quite a conservative) I have customers whose sensors have picked up motion up to 25 feet away.

How to use?

1.Download the firmware to ESP-01/01S via USB-Serial adapter. The link to download the files: https://github.com/IOT-MCU/ESP-01S-Relay-v4.0

2. Plug the ESP-01S module to the 2*4 pin header after download the code to ESP-01/01S.

3. Connect a DC 5V-9V power to the GND and VCC.

4. Install Controller.apk on your Android phone.

5. Connect the mobile phone network to the hotspot sent by ESP-01/01S: ESP8266_XXX, password is: 12345678

6. Set the IP Address, the default IP is: 192.168.1.1

Question:	How many devices will it handle? Is there a page with more detailed specs
Answer:	Having set up hubs before I would say no. It is very difficult to get even simple rules to work. For instance, you can set up a riles that if a light goes on that you want it shut off immediately but not after 10 minutes. You can easily make it go back on after a delay if it goes off but not the reverse. I seen no reason for wanting that but it is what it says. Fir instance, Lutron Integration. You have to go you your Lutron Bridge and export a list. The find what ID number on it corresponds to what remote or switch the manually enter the ID number and description. The instructions just tell you to export it but not where, etc. It is really exporting nothing. It make a text script which the hub cannot import. You have to print it out and manually enter the information even though they are connected to each other via a local telnet which you must also enable vie the Lutron software. If you did not follow all this the definitely do not get it because this is just the "easy" part. Nothing is intuitive, you also have to use "UPDATE" buttons a lot and hitting the done button makes new rules not appear. You have yo exit to the AppList instead. Suddenly it was there. The "done" button only works when modifying existing rules not to create new ones. You have to create one the exit then you can go back and finish editing it. You have to add tons of Apps most of which you have no clue about. I had to add what was described as a developer App to use the mobile software. Fortunately, after going back to the hub and adding the App. Never do anything else when adding one. Create one later. Juts hit done or ot will not be added. Then I went to the mobile app which ran. I followed the prompts and it went into an endless loop trying to find the hub. I then had to uninstall the mobile App, re-install it, try again using a LAN search option and I was finally connected. The Apps list on the screen adjust to your phones width but not dashboards so you have to know how to use CSS to make dashboards work. Does all this sound like how a novice begins to set up a hub. With Wink 2 I just clicked on things, super easy. Too bad it is now a subscription service. They never made a local app. Hubitat uses a localhost like with a router. Did you get all this?

Answer:	Quite honestly, this was not a good buy and it is a waste of money. It's just a gimmick. I put them under kitchen cabinets. The lights are starting to dim now and not as bright even when I push the button for more light. Each puck takes 3 aaa batteries and if you use the whole box of pucks do your math on the cost of batteries for the whole year ( 365 days ) to use these gimmicks. And because of that I hope this company does not make any money because you will be spending alot of money on batteries.

There are lots of other ESP8266 boards out there with "input" signals on board, and which could be programmed to do what you want. You can buy those for about five bucks apiece, plus power. You could run these off a USB cable with an AC/USB adapter "wall wart".

Experiment a little bit on how much delay is required, start with each occurrence of the word "delay" above being a 200ms delay.

Why can't the “family app security system” be set to Away mode?

The security system can arm successfully only when it is ready. Please make sure that the door and window sensor, set as the "Alarm Trigger Device", is in off mode, and the motion sensor is not in the triggered status.

How do I use the HomeKit security system to trigger Aqara Hub alert?

1. Logout from the Aqara Home App and select "HomeKit Mode".

2. Find your hub on the homepage of Aqara Home App, long press the hub control icon to enter the settings page, click "Alert Trigger Device", and turn on the alert trigger device.
