Answer:	I'm not familiar with this particular product, but I bought a similar one from this company (screw-in adapters that allow me to control individual lights in an overhead lamp). For that product, the remotes that come with a particular package work only with the switches/plugs from that package. Buy another set and it will have a remote or remotes that work only with the items from that package; the remotes are not interchangeable between the two packs. So, in a sense, yes, they work on different frequencies.

It was then I questioned her and found out we both had the same doorbell and were on the same frequency. Once I changed the frequency, it stopped ringing when she got company.

Answer:	I recently purchased this set. You don't need to pair. just plug in the bell to any outlet. Attach the doorbell button where you want it located outside on the door. This little unit also puts out a loud enough sound to be heard easily inside.
